I can honestly say I am experiencing FEELS about Sonichu characters. Who wouylda thought?
Your art is absolutely adorable and the way you portray the characters you've included so far is just perfect!
I love the depth you added to their otherwise nonexistant personalities and background stories.

Very nice, I like your takes on these characters. Any chance you'll be doing the other Chaotic Combo members? I'd love to see your takes on them. Angelica's high heels are an interesting choice because you think they'd be impractical for fighting, but then you remember she's flying-type and likely would be floating in the air anyway.

I could see Punchy wearing something like a Ryu-esque getup and a lot of bandages on his arms like Knuckles c. Sonic BOOM, Bubbles might wear a lot of sporty looking clothes, Magi-Chans vest gaining coattails, etc.

Aw, these sketches are so cute! I really like your take on Angelica, the dress is a nice touch. : ( It's better than prancing around naked bearing all her SIN to the world.

I love the dress on Angelica as well. It makes more sense that the nuns would dress her in a conservative dress like that. Not only would it cover all of her naughty bits, but you also have to figure that it would be comprised of whatever spare nun habits/clothing was laying around. Plus she'd probably want to do it in order to gain approval. Or to spare herself punishment. I would imagine that growing up in a nunnery would either be hell on earth or it'd be a rather peaceful existence.

As for the Megan issue, I like the idea of merging/replacing her character in with another female character. You could probably merge her in with say, Ivy, who just appears and dies before ever really accomplishing anything. Of course I did also like the suggestion of having her perpetually off camera and part of the gimmick is that she's mentioned but never seen. You could probably have Spunky reference this in passing. The other option is to just rename the character somewhat. Instead of Sailor Megtune, name her like Sailor Fortuna or something like that (it references the original without actually mentioning any part of the name Megan)- or have a contest (where the prize is that the name gets used) where we come up with a new name.

Hmm... or... how about you pull a Steven Universe? By that I mean that unlike the Sonichus that were merged but didn't require any actual sacrifice or death from anyone, you have a situation where magical powers were passed on... but resulted in the death of the previous holder. (In SU Steven's mother Rose Quartz was a magical girl but when she gave birth to Steven her gem was passed along to him, along with all of her power, resulting in her death.) Obviously Megtune couldn't give birth to Spunky, but you could have Spunky reference a scenario where Megtune had befriended her and ended up sheltering her from danger, culminating in her having to pass the powers along because it was the Right Thing To Do and because not choosing for one to survive would just result in both dying. Then Spunky could come to CWCville because she'd heard about the Sonichus and figured that she'd like to commiserate with them being animals that were anthropomorphized. She might also figure that they possibly also had a tragic background like hers, which could bring some strife to the situation when she realized that while her transformation required a death, theirs seemingly didn't require any death at all. This would allow you to reference the character without actually having to show her and you could just rename her. Plus if Spunky only ever knew Megtune by her Sailor name, it'd make sense for her not to reference her by any other name so if you say "Sailor Fortuna" then people in the know would know who you are referencing- anyone who is new to the comic and is unaware of Chris (I suspect you have a few) wouldn't know who you were referencing.

Of course! I know Bubbles, Angelica, Blake, and (especially) Magichan are going to have some good scenes with Rosechu, and I'll probably be trying to fit in some stuff with Punchy and Wild in there too.

Yeah, it never made much sense for me that she went around without clothes. Even if the clothes hindered her flight, I'm sure she'd wear something. I'm a pretty hardline atheist, so she's going to be fun to kind of crawl into the head of a believer again to write for her.

All good suggestions, thank you! We still have time before we get to that part in the story, so I do still have plenty of time to mull different ideas over in my head.

That's an interesting idea, actually. I agree with Anonimo that she'd be the kind to dress sporty, but it'd be cool if she also worked as a lifeguard at the beach. It'd be the perfect job for her.

Trickie, how about replacing Megan with Chris's secretary in that panel where she was important? And then you can just write her out of the rest of the story.
