So many different settings in this one, so annoying. At least we get to see Kel again. I missed her a lot.
I don't know why, but I specifically enjoyed drawing her sleeping...
You know, they say that hugging your pillow in your sleep is a sign of insecurity...
Aaannnd why not, we'll do another one of these, just because I think they're funny.

LOL, that's actually pretty cute. I love how you've taken a relationship that felt forced at best in the original and actually made it feel pretty genuine and natural. I figure that there will still be some drama when the relationship starts getting more serious and things start elevating to the next level. Right now they're mostly just hanging out. There are some romantic vibes, but ultimately both are fairly innocent and naive when it comes to love, let alone sex. Rosechu is just starting to barely open up to the idea of a potential romance, although if you asked the Then-Rosechu she'd probably just label it friendship. I have a feeling that eventually Sonichu is going to go in for a kiss or do something romantic-ish and change this fragile dynamic forever.
It'd be interesting to know whether or not he did it by his own volition or if someone else pushed him into it, although I wouldn't know for what reasons they'd do that. I can't imagine that The Defacer (ie, Chris) would allow these two to just gently wade into their own little love story at their own pace. (I call him The Defacer because of Liquid's comment on the August 11th comic.)

I'm confused, Pokémon and Sonic are real in this universe yet they have video games of them? I'm saying this assuming that's a Pokémon Yellow cartridge that Sonichu is playing in the top right panel. I was under the impression that the Sonichu Universe was created by Solid fusing a Pokémon and Sonic cartridge together and the rainbow was just a show of his reality bending powers. I figured the cartridges wouldn't exist in this universe. Please can you bring me up to speed, Trickie?

Yeah, unfortunately having Chris come in and go "now kith" wasn't quite in the cards, so this version of Chris has more of a passive role at least for the time being. I think it's nice to have their relationship being built on something more substantial than "as often as birds tweet, you are my lovely heartsweet", though.
I'm actually kind of sad now, though, we won't be seeing Liquid again for a while. Maybe I could find some sort of excuse, I dunno...
Well, the Pokemon and Sonic universe are real, but they've also sort of collided with a world where they are actually fiction (in this case, Cwcville). Now, as for what they're playing in that 4th panel, that's actually not Pokemon Yellow Version, that's Pokemon Lightning Version. In fact the part of the game they're playing at that moment is that exact same moment they're living at that point, as Rosey is explaining to Sonichu there. So as she's pointing at the screen, her little sprite inside the game is actually pointing to the gameboy color being held by the Sonichu sprite, and, well....
No, actually, I'm kidding (at least about everything past the first sentence there), the yellow cartridge was just meant to be a bit of silliness. In hindsight I probably should've made it grey like any other gameboy cart, but I couldn't resist the reference. Maybe we can just say they're playing Donkey Kong Land III instead?
