Sonichu[Fan Comic] Rosechu's Story - A reimagining of the Sonichu story from Rosechu's perspective.
Well, so far we seem to have the "yea"s in the lead, with the rest evenly split between "nay" and "meh". I'm counting votes on the Tumblr page too, so if you've voiced your opinion there as well as here, let me know so that I don't count your vote twice. (Lookin at you, Steel )
Just setting the record straight now, there are no plans for depicting any kind of explicit erotic nudity or intercourse. The subject IS going to come up, however, so it is going to be depicted in some manner, but I'll be making it as tasteful as possible.

Well then, looks like it's time for the reveal...!
Not that this is a huge surprise, once again basically everyone got it right away. Eventually the random recolor picker is going to give me one that's got a very generic silhouette, though... eventually.
I'll be doing a very simple Check Plus/Check/Check Minus grading system here, nothing too complicated.
I might've docked you points for not knowing that Wild's ears are split at the end, or that he doesn't use a sword or wear a cape, and that he has a pikachu tail, but then I realized that this simply means that you're still innocent, untainted by Chris' autistic world and the minutiae of differences between these recolors. Go and protect that innocent mind of yours.
The Darkwing Duck theme is one of the greatest cartoon theme songs of all time, and for making me smile with a Darkbind version of it, you get an ultra rare...
Or Darkbind, y'know, whichever. I'm not entirely sure though, since it looks like there's a bump on his face, as if he's wearing goggles or glasses. Plus, I think his shoes are a little different, Darkbind's don't seem to have those little wing thingies on them.
That's a good eye, actually. The design of his boots was something I decided to take artistic liberty on, as I wanted to make them look a little bit more like they might if they were from medieval times, so you certainly can't be blamed for that. We certainly are getting a lot of people calling his sword a baseball bat too.
I'm actually impressed someone remembered that bit from the audiobooks (though, they were pretty good to watch, so I guess it's not that amazing). Extra points to you for that, then!
CHECK PLUS! ✔+
Added note, my sleeping schedule was thrown off, so we might be seeing tomorrow's page at an odd hour. We'll have to see.

Huh, and here I thought for sure I'd get a check minus for this. Funnily enough I actually originally wasn't gonna mention the Wild thing at all since it was so brief that I thought that, but I figured I needed to be honest.
I'm going to give the new technique a trial run. As much as I like it, there are some who seem to like the old style, so we'll give it a few pages before we make the final decision, possibly til the end of the chapter.
Spent a while trying to get Rosechu's expression in panel one right. She's supposed to be looking heroically determined, but I couldn't get it to where she didn't just look annoyed...

Poor Sonichu probably didn't even realize that you can't breathe uderwater. This is pretty funny after Rosechu's little inner monologue about how smart he is in his own way. Anyways, that was some epic save!
Personally, I had no problem identifying that Rosechu's supposed to have an expression of determination on her face. It really screams "Imma save this fucker" to me. I think it's her being upside down that makes it work, since she does look a bit more annoyed on the iversed caption. Maybe you could've drawn her eyes a bit narrower to cover the upper halves of her pupils, giving her that kind of a Kubrick stare DBZ character love so much. Still, like I've said, I think it works perfectly as it is!
While I really like your pixelated style, I must say this smoother line art is really up my alley. Maybe you could have the more subtle scenes drawn in the old style, and have the scenes with more action be smoother, just to make the pop more?
I've been following this comic a while but I've never posted. I just wanted to say your art is wonderful and you've done an amazing job making these characters and this concept something worth liking. I always look forward to the next page. c: (And this newest page is no exception. GO ROSECHU!)
Wow, didn't realize how much I loved that idea until now. She gives him CPR and Sonichu in his infinite naivety thinks that she's kissing him instead...that works a little TOO well.
The new issue is really touching and great, I love how determined Rosechu is in saving Sonichu, and those pedals falling off that flower in her hair has to be symbolic of something.
Also that Magikarp in the background. He's just like "What the fuck's goin' on ovah heah?"

I did experiment with her narrowing her eyes, but it looked a bit weird. I dunno. Also, I'd rather go all one style or the other. I don't think having the pixelated style next to the smoother style will work.

Oh Kel, you so crazy. Yeah, though, I'm pretty sure this is one of those pictures he drew to try to prove to everyone that Rosechu was never a guy. And to do that, he made Raichu's tail big enough to use as a surf board, almost assuredly dooming them to being ostracized by their kind for being a freak of nature. Also, either the wave is going the wrong way, or Kel can walk on water.
