Sonichu [Fan Comic] Rosechu's Story - A reimagining of the Sonichu story from Rosechu's perspective.

Here's another person who thinks the current page is adorable. :)

I do have a honest question: Is Rosechu still male or did the transformation from Raichu to Rosechu made him a female? (I'm wondering because you refer him as a she while he refers himself as a he in the comic.) If this question involves future plot spoilers, please ignore.

Boy did that second-to-last panel give me some trouble. I can't believe I forgot how to draw roses...

Oh god, this is so sweet and cute. :( Feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeels.

I don't wnat Chris to appear and ruid everything! He'll take over their lives. (:_(

Sketch time! Boy am I arting up a storm lately, it seems.

Today we've got Count Graduon. Don't ask me why he's reading the paper in a bath robe and fuzzy slippers, he just is. Being an embodiment of immense power is hard work, sometimes you just have to take it easy, I guess.

Design isn't necessarily final.

Ahahah, I love how casual Count Graduon looks.

Count Casuon.

On a side note, that face gets me every time.

"Nothing quite like spending your morning with a copy of the CWCville News and your favorite fuzzy slippers. I may be evil, but even villains enjoy the simple things in life."

Here's a thought, will Graduon show any appreciation for human culture? If he does would it be upper class stuff like fine wine, classical music, art, etc? Or maybe put a twist on it and say he enjoys simple things like in the quote I wrote for the picture? Personally, I have a fascination with villains.

A better question would be, what direction will you go with Solid? The comic books seemed to paint him early on as a fatherly figure (I imagine him being something like the Wizard in Wicked, but if he had actual powers), and through his actions we are supposed to see him as in the right, but his deeds appear anything but heroic. But for our sake, don't go CWC Jong Un with him, too many fan fics do that as it is.

You always have such good questions, I love it! Unfortunately, I don't have an answer for this one yet. Graduon's proper introduction won't happen for a while, and I haven't fully gotten my head around him entirely. Then again, maybe he could have acquired an appreciation for the fine wines and craft beers that have been regularly confiscated by the mayor and shot to the moon, among other things.

Well, I'm going to do my level best not to let him go full "CWC Jong Un", but I really don't feel like I need to do much more than to just depict him the way he ended up depicting himself in his own comics: a mayor who rarely bothers to ever go do actual work in his own office and prefers to leave everything on the shoulders of his secretary and others while he goes to loiter around public areas waiting for his sweetheart. Someone who is only really generous so long as it suits his own wants and desires and doesn't require too much work from him. Someone who would enact disproportionately cruel punishments upon anyone who crosses him for even the most petty of transgressions.

A child with immense power and control over the world around him, in other words.

Damn, and I though "Yotsuba?!" was the cutest thing I've read this month. While I always like a good satire or the more agressively parodic nature of other Sonichu fanfics, there's something uncynical and genuine in how you portray the two would-be lovehogs that I can't help but absolutely adore.

Well, he is supposed to represent what Chris fears the most, i.e. growing up and taking responsibility, so one might think he's a well educated, cultured fellow with his head firmly kept on his shoulders.

I love how your definition accurately sums up Chris's comic persona. It's easy to twist the character so he is the leader of a police/hermit state, but only CWCollateral did that plot right IMHO. You have a much greater understanding of these characters than the guy who wrote them himself!

Oh wow. Have you seen that Twilight Zone episode, "It's a good life" (The movie version, counts!). I never thought of comic Chris being like the kid in that story, but it really fits. (:_(
