Cabin mystery finally explained.
I like Rosechu's slightly amused expression in the third panel. Its like this isn't the first crazy plan Kel's thought of. xD
Yeah, I think I did say that the whole mystery behind why she's living there wouldn't be a huge, game changing reveal.
And yeah, these two have been together for years now, so I don't doubt that they've participated in some wacky hijinks before this.
FUCKIN' ABRAS, man. Easily one of the most annoying encounters in the Pokemon-verse.
I'm liking where this is going; plus relieved that Kel's not just trying to put Sonichu and Rosechu because "muh OTPs!" Or worse yet like Chris pairing the Game Place kids by their ethnicity.
Yeah, the whole "It must be fate!" thing with her, which I'm so glad was in a thought bubble and not actual dialog so it's easier to excuse its omission.
Great page! I like how you've been giving a reason for events from the original
Sonichu storyline to have happened the way that they did. It shows me that you've really been thinking this thing through as you've gone along. I'm guessing that Kel will attempt at playing matchmaker/ keeping Sonichu busy and her plan will lead into the confrontation with a certain Team Rocket member and legendary bird Pokémon.

This is a great way to transition into something like that and really helps the story flow naturally, whereas Chris just made shit happen because plot. I'm looking forward to seeing how you will handle it, because it is probably going to be epic!
Unfortunately the incident with Naitsirhc is one of those things that's going to be glanced over, mostly for the sake of underscoring an overarching plot point, but we
will get to see a neat pokemon battle that wasn't depicted in the comics.
Nice page as always, and happy to see how well you're weaving the existing comic into the new awesomeness. Also like the idea of them hiding behind a fridge door which would somehow block out all sound as well- it adds a subtle comical flair to it.
Just one question though, doesn't Poemon have tranqs or something? Like, couldn't she just spike Sonichu's Brunswick stew? I know, it'd destroy the storyline, but just thinking outloud.
I'm sure there's something like tranquilizers in the pokemon world somewhere, but as far as I know it's not common for pokemon trainers themselves to have access to them. Pokemon do have the ability to paralyze, poison, and put other pokemon to sleep, but these are only through attacks and abilities they might have, and would require them to battle.
Oh KEL. Now I see what game she's playing. Sneaky, sneaky.
This makes sense though, it's a trainers dream come true to find a unique Pokemon! Love the twists you're giving the characters, and the Abra flashback...(Damn you Teleport!!!)
Oh absolutely. It's been years since she set out on her pokemon adventure, so she's definitely committed to the job, and being the first to discover a brand new species of pokemon would be a very appealing badge of prestige for her.
This is awesome. A girl Kel's age living in a cabin - once of my pet Sonichu plot flaws - actually makes effortless sense.
I can't wait for the introduction of Professor Cole. I really hope he's a bald hipster who styles himself the world's smartest pokemon scientist...
I haven't thought too much about what I'm going to do with Professor Cole, actually, but I almost want to have him try to charge Kel $250 for his time.
If it's okay with you, I want to share a few guesses as to how Liquid Chris will fit into all of this:
1. Liquid is the TRUE and HONEST mayor of CWCville but was forced to go into hiding when Solid attempted to assassinate him to kidnap Kacey.
2. Liquid is trying to get the PVCC on his side to stop Solid's tyranny over CWCville
3. Somehow Liquid knows more about Rosechu's transformation than everyone else
Nah, I don't mind predictions at all, I just like messing with blank. As for yours, I'll say that one of those is spot on, and one is only partly true.
I've totally misread "Solid's tyranny" for "solid tranny." Actually, that'd be a pretty accurate description for the bold new look Chrissun's been going for lately.
As for the latest page: terrific as always. Kel seems to be stirring up some grade A shizzle. And of course that fridge is absorbs all sounds perfectly, it must be the Resident Evil Refridgerator!
Yeah, it's kind of a shame I won't really be able to get into the tomgirl saga in the span on the comic, as the story ends shortly after the events of Issue 10. Maybe I'll do a short side comic, I dunno.
