That sucks. I would have honestly loved some of Fallout 4's effects in the more twisted and inhospitable DC-Virginia area. But, there's so many independent scenarios in the works that it shouldn't affect the modding scene as a whole.

EDIT: I'm not saying that to downplay the situation, but it's something I expected to happen regardless of optimism.

I'm mostly curious as to why there is actually colors at all. All previous Fallout technology has had that late 40s, early 50s aesthetic where color TVs weren't really a thing and instead the world in the Fallout mythos was based more on radio towers and vacuum tubes. Instead TVs and computers that did exist were all in monochrome grays, greens, and browns, depending to what game you were playing.

So might be something... or it might be Bethesda fucking up the mythos again.

It's likely just a way to show the fans that this is a special announcement. Nothing more, nothing less.
