Unlike the show saying NCR collapsed a few years before the events of New Vegas. The show runners dont care about the lore so why defend them?

Which is funny cause if the ncr started to collapse after new vegas it probably wouldn't be that big of a deal and would line up with a legion victory but again the writers made up choices that didn't exist in the game for outcomes they wanted. Hell I'll bet they didn't even check when new vegas happened until after season 1 released.

It was my last non challenge achievement on FNV, because I legit forgot that fleeing was even an option so I had deleted the save after ending HH, had to start from zero after the Legion ending (which was the last I done), so I took it and the ones for challenges (like killing NCR or Legion with specific guns)

All things considered, GECK is so buggy that this really was probably just a technical issue they overlooked(the DLC is filled with cut content and unintended mistakes), but I like to think there really was one developer at Obsidian who just found the idea of turning Daniel Chinese cringy and changed him back to Caucasian at the last minute. The alternative is that the GECK itself a-logged Sawyer and changed the race back to Caucasian(default) and nobody checked, I dunno which scenario is funnier.

The answer is quite literally always 'yes' because Bethesda is so full of jeets trying to grind for Izzat that they fuck up any remote chance of the script extender not needing to be retargeted. This also goes for Skyrim and i guess Slopfield but nobody cares about that last one.
You want at minimum a downgrader to 'Next Gen' and much more likely one to 'Old Gen' (or, y'know, the Final release of the game until they shat it up).
