No it has a Nvidia GPU, the big problem was that the memory was split into two pools of 256MB(XDR and GDDR3) instead of a unified 512MB like on the 360. The CPU and the GPU can't dip directly into each others memory pools so they had to juggle things around to make things fit making things more complex and eating up bandwidth.

Yeah, sorry it was a misremembered factoid delivered in an early morning shitpost, here's a better example of why PS3 was radically different then PC/360 architecture wise then me inventing things

Did I read this correctly? Are they making their paypigs beta testers sign an NDA saying they can only talk about their shitty update on forums they control?

Makes me wonder how much money they're going to charge for this and how badly they know it'll suck.
 
I'm pretty sure the NDA is gonna be as effective as asking hackers to write an essay.
Then again, this beta is for the good boys and girls still licking Todd Howard's asshole, so maybe it'll work.

I'm pissed at the fallout community right now tbh. Theres a inventory steal, a character deletion, and private server hack out now. Sure my legacy's and high value items are shooting to the stars but I enjoy it for what it is.

My roommate and I used to play everyday with a huge number of groups. Now we can barely sign on. We literally have someone WATCH THE MAP to make sure noone invaded the private server.

We've literally had to alt+f4 like 8 times just to dodge these scriptkiddies

I think it would've been interesting up until Outer Worlds showed up and shit on its chest. Feels like sticking NPCs and single player servers in F76 will just turn it into F4 with nukes.
