Sooooooo, we're not counting the replica Dali as irreplaceable?Or give the legos to a kid who actually lost something irreplaceable in a house fire, like a parent or a pet.

My reaction exactly, Chris could have gotten a Subway gift card I had lying around but now he gets nothing and I get a footlong chicken bacon ranch on wheat.Does he think he is the only one to have a hard life? Or is he extra special, that he must have everything because the world is against him? There are many people out there who have gone through worse than he has, and don't expect a handout, what makes him so special? If he just said me and my mum need money for food, I would have obliged in sending a voucher, but as soon as I saw the Lego wish list I though no.
In all seriousness it's not that he's asking for more help while his house is being redone. A simple Facebook status like "Thanks again for everyone who's been helping us out these past few months, if you still want to help we would greatly appreciate it." wouldnt have rustled us like this has. And to be honest when I saw the requests for Applebee's and Food Lion I wasn't angry, he could have approached it better but whatevs.
However, just like everyone else, it's the 5k worth of Legos.
And if he does plan on selling them on eBay than he's stupider than I even thought, because if he kindly asked for more help financially we wouldn't be on page 12 of this thread.

He is going to keep doing this, and never stop. It's going to get worse when Barb dies, I can tell.
You mean kind of like this?"hi! i'm 32 years old, i live with my invalid mother, our house recently burned down, we are in dire financial straits and i could really use some toys"
Even if he asked "can people please donate me some money so I can make a dent in the gigantic credit card debt I have that I never planned how to deal with?" it'd still be a step better than this lego shit. What about groceries, Chris? Like, ACTUAL groceries, not fast food. How about medicine?
I don't know, but can you go to jail or anything for not paying back several large credit card debts? Or have theEven if he asked "can people please donate me some money so I can make a dent in the gigantic credit card debt I have that I never planned how to deal with?" it'd still be a step better than this lego shit.
Oh yeah, no shit. Really, it's seeming like fatty's going for the gold in the shitheel olympics, and he's dedicated, damnit. And I never would've expected this sort of dedication from Chris. He usually just shits himself and does nothing, y'know? And see, that's exactly the thing that tears it. I'm used to Chris doing stupid shit like his stupid "last dig" comments (when he's usually trying to sound like the good guy until his final remark, where he reminds you how much of a two-faced ratbag he is), but this was just the dam bursting. Instead of just saying "Oh, and some LEGOs would be nice too, ha ha." and we all just sigh and roll our eyes... no- motherfucker posts a goddamn shopping list for toys.
I realize I'm making this personal, but goddammit ... I've been having dental procedures since January, just got new glasses, and running low on my medication so I can continue to fucking BREATHE. And all of that costs LESS than his fucking toy list.
What about groceries, Chris? Like, ACTUAL groceries, not fast food. How about medicine?
I mean... FUCK. Usually I can filter Chris' ungrateful bullshit in a short matter of time, but this is above and beyond his usual shittiness.

Chris is being a bad person. I'd feel bad if I saw some old lady getting mugged on the side of the street for the same reasons.I don't know why a few people are upset about this. Most of the people who donated expected this so it's not like we've been bamboozled or anything. I'm just surprised it took him this long to openly beg for useless shit and slightly surprised it's this obvious. Sometimes Chris will do something weird that is obviously an attempt to hide his motives but this is just straight up asking for toys. I'm a bit bummed about that because it's always funny to see his weird thought process when it comes to trying to manipulate people. We still have no idea why he bought himself the Back to the Future legos and then posted pictures of Facebook claiming a fan/troll sent it. (this was before the fire)

And this is the biggest amount of dedication he has put into something during the whole year so far, God fucking dammit Chris.
I am not surprised by this, i am just surprised that he's lazy and stupid enough that he didn't even try to hide the fact that he's just begging for toys, vidya and fast food. He's literally getting worse and worse, that he doesn't even tells those half-assed lies that he used to make a few months ago ('Da Twolls gave this to me, HONEST!!).
You have to look at it through the lens of autism...
"Hmm, yeah. Da twoll, da trolls sent me things when I was, I was down in da dumps, mm, yeah. Maybe if I tell dem da things that I, um, hmm, need, dey will send me dem! Hmm, yeah... Dat makes a bunch of da sense. Yeah..."
