My best guess is its an SSRI antidepressant. It lines up with the rational for the ketamine therapy. I certainly don't think this provides any evidence he is on HRT.

That was my guess too, but he says he's not supposed to drink with the medication "not because it fucks you up or anything but just because it stops the medication from working" so it makes me think maybe he's talking about something else.

Again, from my understanding these are often only issues if you are drinking to excess, but its why doctors recommend against drinking when on them. Also, I think there is no way this is the first time he's drank dangerously too much before. Nobody just wakes up and decide to just drink a whole bottle of whiskey if they don't already have an unhealthy relationship with alcohol.

I think he has drank on stream in the past, does he get noticeably sleepier the more the drinks hit? That's a classic side effect of drinking while on antidepressants, especially SSRIs.

Ketamine clinics are all the rage here in the states it's shocking how much more affordable they are here than in the UK. I thought Europe was all about the free health care.

Anyways the ketamine you get from a clinic is different than shooting him, it's drip fed and at a much lower dose to not K-hole you normally. Plus it's doctor monitored and you have to have a ride back and forth obviously.
