And that's if the spare is still functionnal after all these years.These sorts of facilities often have whole spare transformers ready to roll in to position in the event of a failure. (At least the old ones, noone pays the money to do it properly these days).
That is of course assuming they haven't already used the spare in the 90 years it's been running.

If it’s not an oil-filled type transformer then it should be fine. I’m not very familiar or experienced with the distribution/high voltage side of things though.And that's if the spare is still functionnal after all these years.![]()
