Someone who isn't me has found him/herself at the point where my achievements render them unhireable.
Such people are deemed as flight risks, due to the high level of education and pedigree. They will leave when something better comes along. That is not always the case.
Has anyone ever found success by omitting their education/experience from their resumes / CVs?
You wouldn't mention a bachelors/masters/PhDs when applying to burger king. What about when applying to other sectors?
Thank you for the feedback.
I am at the point where my friend is seeking dogshit income unsuited for the education. Simply because he is considered too qualified to hire.
"You're too qualified, we'll keep you on file."
He won't do that 'learn to code' shit and AI datacenters have turned their hearts to stone.
Thank you for the feedback.

As long as you don't mind getting your hands dirty, and being miserable for a while, you can get a job pushing a shovel for a contractor and work your way up pretty quickly if you have a head on your shoulders. Just don't embezzle any money.

I and a few others am qualified for a great many things. I have been relegated to swinging below my belt because of many factors, most out of my control. It's so obvious until you get hit with it in the face: sometimes, you're too qualified to work. tl;dr.
It's basically, lie about achievements, lie about years of work. Blame the economy, camel fucks, Ai, whatever. Masquerade as Joe Jerkoff to get income.
tbf everyone over-qualified I've ever known eventually decides they deserve that better pay - or they had an entire alternate plan in the works and the job was just to carry them through until their real plan was ready.
I guess moving out of state isn't an option or you wouldn't be whinging here about it? What's your specialty?
Yes. I've omitted my time in the pie-slingin' business and bagging groceries. I doubt 6 figures is gonna care that I wiped a coke-addicted martial arts sensei's butthole for an entire summer. That is not the issue here.
The issue is that the qualifications listed label me as a flight risk. "If he's so qualified why's he applying here? He'll just leave the moment something better comes up." True. I'd still do my two weeks and due diligence. Or, "why is he swinging this low? something must be up." True.
