No need to overthink it. Patreon exists to be a continual source of income for "creators". There is no set goal like a Kickstarter or the like. Every single game or project on Patreon, for the most part, is intended to last forever in development because once it is finished the patreon bux will plummet and die. No need to keep throwing money at a thing that's already done.
In this way Patreon "creatives" are basically the worst kind of construction workers being paid to do a specific job but taking as much time as possible to get more money.

No one really thinks about that on Patreon because all they want is to keep the game in development hell so they can spend the money on anything else until they die.

All the drama unravelling and unfolding as a consequence of the game is infinitely more fun than any conception of a yandere simulator or it's clones could ever be.

This is going to be autism leaking, so prepare the puzzles, but if you want to make it a more Hitman vibe (because trying to mix things as different as Hitman and Persona is a retarded idea), you could be some edgy spirit of love, like a Yoko Taro spin on a cupid or some shit. You could have a story over multiple levels where you go across Japan possessing girls who are being the third wheel in a relationship and twisting their feelings so that they decide to kill their rival and blame it on someone else without getting spotted, whether in a campus, workplace, or somewhere else.

No need for it to be some overly long shit with three hundred fucking years of lore either, it's fine to make it a quick arcade-like experience. What feels particularly shit about Alex's idea to me is the fact that all of these potential circumstances (suicide, murder, expelling, kidnapping, etc.) happen in one area, in a consistent spree revolving around an easy to notice pattern of girls loving one guy, and apparently it's fine, even though the principal knows how much of a shitshow the MC's mom was. Then again, doing this another way would require taking store-bought assets for more than one level, and to some people, that's too much work.

this is exactly why i said alex should take inspiration from what real serial killers did. she's just a serial killer through and through, but he's either too lazy to implement it correctly or he's too much of a little bitch to admit what he's created

God, what I would do to find someone who would do my documentation and community management work for me, and pay me $100/month for the privilege of doing so. I guarantee you guys, this is going to be part of the August 1st post. He's going to use it as an example that he's always been working towards predefined Osana goals, and he's not pushing back the timeline for no reason, this was always the plan, the damned dirty gremlins just got up in it and forced him to not work on the game.
