Judging by the gif in the new blog post, it looks like Alex will never abandoned his idea of implementing a fighting mechanic into the game despite all the backlash it had gotten already.

I expect 30 new game-breaking bugs to appear once this thing actually gets into the game.

I wonder if he wanted to make a beat 'em up all along, considering Lunar Scythe and all. If that's the case, he should either drop the project or the idea itself because stealth games don't even need fighting mechanics like those.

Also is there an explanation for the silhouettes? I'm guessing it's so Eva or the volunteer can be sloppy with the animation?

Jumping the Bandwagon of Rewriting the Atrocious Storyline:
Info-Chan ins in fact, nothing more than a mole for Megami Saikou, lured in by the thousands of Yen. Mr. Saikou literally spends all his money on crack cocaine, hookers, and more drugs to numb the pain of his children, considered failures for not being enrolled in Ivy League Schools.
  • The Aishi bloodiline is solely comprised of prideful narcissists that would make the likes of Narcissus and Tantalus of Greek Myth shudder. Senpai only does gardening, but is afraid he will be considered "unmanly"
Edited by a smidge.

I hope he implement this system, because the bugs and glitches will be a sight to behold.

It took 10 seconds for my face to minimize due to the cringe.
"Where to start? Guess I'll start at the beginning!" is one of those phrases that triggers some alarmbells in my head. It has been used so often despite not really giving any information. It's not even a proper intro for a story.
It doesn't surprise me that Alex would use it.

Actually listening to the rest is even worse. It's just rambling and blatant exposition.

I took a screenshot of all he did other than bug fixes.

(Also, I'm still relatively new here, so I really don't understand how to archive things, but I'll try to figure it out...)

I'm just gonna throw this out there: isn't it strange to call something that you're writing and anouncing a plot twist? I'm not saying it's wrong, but that it comes off as weird.

Actually, it's pretty good that you pointed that out, since a plot twist heavily relies on the fact that it's completely unexpected by the audience. Announcing that a plot twist is coming up ahead basically ruins the point of a plot twist. Alex needs to take a writing class, along with a programming class.

(This kind of reminds me when someone pointed out a couple pages ago that Alex is like Chris-chan in his need to spoil everything before anyone gets to see it.)
