I think I’ve been watching Bob for three years now. I can’t recall him volunteering anywhere or helping with traffic at all. Can anyone else recall him volunteering or helping?

It depends on the scale of the emergency.
Sometimes there are things like storm damage and large fires that take a long time to sort out.
If Bob suspects that the local businesses are helping out by donating food for the service workers, he'll show up in his fucking yellow clown uniform and take food from the real heros.
He volunteered for the Red Cross years ago and traveled down south with the intention of stealing sandwiches from real social workers.
He was sent home and is no longer welcome to volunteer with the Red Cross.

I'm friends with people in the Carrollton who are members of law enforcement and the fire department. They are all aware of the village idiot and often sit around and laugh at him!
Just like the rest of us.

One time there was a car that stalled or ran out of gas or something and Bob helped two other guys push it like 20 feet. I don't think he really did much pushing especially since he has a crippling disability that makes him unable to work.

One other time there was a car with a dead battery and he gave them a jump.

These are literally the only two times he has assisted anybody. Normally he just drives around and calls 911 whenever he sees someone going 5 over the speed limit.

Also: This is the recycling bin where you put your recycling so they can recycle it. Thanks for the explanation, Slob.

He was mentioned as "amateur radio". Just one big ego trip for him, he gets to dress up (well nothing new there, he dresses up to go to the grocery store), but he got to turn on his fancy lights, and not give candy to the kids. Mr Grinch incarnate! I wonder if he was yelling at everyone that he has a camera???
 
On the topic of Bob always wearing high-vis clothing for no reason, I recently encountered a full-blown retard in the wild who was wearing the same gear. This was at a funeral for an acquaintance’s mother and the retard was a relative of the deceased. But THIS retard made himself indispensable to the proceedings, helping to bring in extra chairs and rearrange tables for the luncheon given after the funeral, taking the initiative to clear tables, and almost singlehandedly cleaning everything up afterward (despite there being hired staff there to do all that).

Retardation is no excuse for being a lifelong taker who does nothing for others. Bob is gonna burn for eternity!

What is wrong with his headlights? Mr. "Security" has one headlight that is either out of alignment or defective.
I know people that were at the parade and they told me that the crowd was laughing at him.
I also heard that local officials were telling people to use extreme caution around Bob since he's been diagnosed as delusional.
