Has anyone ever heard the saying that wolves in Europe are more dangerous to humans than ones in North America? I have heard that since in midieval Europe, wolves and humans lived in closer contact than in north america, wolves attacked peoples livestock more ( and even people during wars or famines).
I wonder if this is still true today? Are there any continental europeans ( wolves don't exist in Britain and Ireland) that can commnent about my impression about their continent's wolves?
