Welcome to European News Megathread.
In my opinion, Europe deserves justice and it's own megathread on this website.
I hope it will stay up, and will be active.
Stay safe, fellow Eurofags.

France's first lady plagued by rumors she was born 'male' - Self-explanatory.

pretty much all of them are on the downturn. Spain can barely keep the electricity on and lol >poortugal.

I think italy is getting better? But i'll admit i really haven't haven't heard that much from them since Meloni
Spain? More like Pain!

Really, the only remotely functional countries in the EU are France (lol), Germany (more lols), and Poland (which is poor and gibs-hungry but somehow not retarded like everyone else). I'd say the Visegrad Group could manage to handle their own affairs following the inevitable disintegration but that would require the Hungarians to put someone smarter than Orban and his oil racket in charge.

I was going to counter you by saying Norway and Switzerland, but then I saw that you said "in the EU" and not in Europe.
I'll just let that speak for itself.

Yeah, its almost like France and Germany decided to gather all of the retards in the same room as them to try and make them less retarded, only for them to get ganged up on by all the retards and eventually dragged down to their level.

One month out of the year they would all go skiing in the alps together and typically one weekend out of the month was some sort of event with lots of catering and alcohol. It sounded like an adult day care with hundreds of thousands of Euros being spent each month to shuffle around a bunch of rich kids across the globe. I could see how someone would get caught up in that and the stupid political fart huffing and say "yeah this is the life"
Reminds me of a guy who was involved in an Erasmus Plus Youth program and he wanted to lure me in (completely unaware that I am weird and would not fit, most likely). It went along the lines:
-''Hey, wanna join our week long Project for Youth in *insert an EU country* (French Alps, Spanish coast or something)?
-''But what's your project even about?''
-''It's a project where people learn and practice international cooperation''
-''And how exactly does one learn it?''
-''Through the Project's workshops''.
-''Well, but what are the workshops about, what one actually does there?''
-''International cooperation''.

I know an other guy who also used the Erasmus Plus, to try teaching in his actually useful field at some university abroad for 3 weeks, but what I could make out of photos from the European Youth projects, it looks mostly like partying and travelling for free, taking group photos with cardboard speech bubbles on a stick and cooking national dishes sometimes, or exactly like what you say. Daycare for adults.

Serbia getting nig-nogged. Or jeeted. Whoever comes first. The foreign minister recalled it of course. "All made up."
But with an early life like this, you dont even need to be in the EU to get enriched.

So you’re telling me that a man named (((Duric))) came up with the idea to flood Serbia with spear chuckers?

Well, I never….Who would’ve thunk it…When pigs fly…

What do the top 16 cities on this list have in common besides being European?

Erasmus+ is a fucking scam. I was conned into going on a week long course to learn about using Lego in an educational setting or some shit. It was essentially EU taxpayer money going towards the Lego Serious Play programme (it's all pseudo therapy bullshit), with the venue being owned by someone on the committee who was approving the projects, and the girlfriend of another organiser, running the whole thing. I looked into their accounts and they were pulling in around 150k of funding a year to do this infantile bullshit. Needless to say, I cut my losses and left early.

The fresco that looked like Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has now been covered.

Now you see her, now you don’t.

The face of Italian prime minister Giorgia Meloni that was painted on a cherub in a church in Rome has been removed following outrage and an investigation by the country’s cultural ministry.

Meloni’s likeness appeared on the body of an angel following restoration works at the Chapel of the Holy Souls of Purgatory in the Basilica of St. Lawrence in Lucina, in central Rome.

The fresco at the Basilica of St. Lawrence in Lucina that drew criticism.

Although completed late last year, the issue came to light at the weekend when before and after photos posted on social media showed that the original angel’s face had been replaced with an image that looked like the prime minister.

At first the volunteer restorer, Bruno Valentinetti, denied the claims, saying that he’d copied the original images from drawings.

But on Wednesday, he told La Repubblica newspaper that it was indeed the prime minister. However, he insisted that it was similar to the original artwork, the paper reported.

Valentinetti was tasked with smudging out his work, which has left a ghost-like white blob on the angel’s body.

“I covered it up because the Vatican told me to,” he told La Repubblica.

The Vatican has not weighed in publicly on the controversy.

The culture ministry, which ordered an investigation earlier this week, put out a statement on Wednesday about the removal of the image, saying that works in churches in Rome had to be preapproved with drawings for proposed changes.

“In light of the removal of the face from the decoration in the chapel of the crucifix of San Lorenzo in Lucina, in agreement with the Minister of Culture, Alessandro Giuli, the Special Superintendent of Rome, Daniela Porro, has informed the rector of the Basilica that any restoration work requires a request for authorization from the Ministry of the Interior’s Fund for Places of Worship, which owns the property, the Vicariate, and the Special Superintendency of Rome, attaching a sketch of the image,” the ministry wrote in a statement posted on its website.

Hundreds of visitors have visited the chapel in recent days to take photos of the image, the parish priest Father Daniele Micheletti said.

“I’ve always said that if it had created divisions, I would have had it removed,” he told Sky Italia.

“From a regulatory standpoint, the painting could have remained there for a hundred years, but it has created too many divisions in the church.”

My kid literally returned from his Erasmus+ (I think that's what it was) a few days ago. It was a great experience for him but what was baffling was the EU's rules about what the students could and could not study while they were there. They were not allowed to study Japanese, for example. At a Japanese university. Many such cases.

All I know about Erasmus is that some students used it for subsidies to fund their minors in other countries where they did practically nothing educative.

Apart from useless "studies", Erasmus (without +) also funds work internships. It's abused by companies in fields like civil engineering, to get a fuckton of free workforce that doesn't have to be the most skilled, but can use the printer, do dishes, make coffee and clean up the office etc.
E+, that's the adult daycare and exchange of teachers.

Diesel up .3 in Eastern Europee, Benzine up .2 - ~20 and ~15 percent.
Germany reports prices of up to 2.4Euroes for Diesel.
I suppose we can expect everything else to also rise by the same percentage. Thank you Israel

Notice how warring Ukraine doesn't break top 10.

Divershitty is more dangerous than Russian artillery and missiles.
To be fair, accelerationists are terrible.

>let's help make things worse faster
>then people will get fed up
>then things will get better <---------- this part of the plan has never happened
Happened very well in Weimar.
