THERE'S a bold step forward for humankind if ever there was one.
I've said it before, but it bears repeating, some of the earliest "great scientists" were also devout believers in their religion, who saw science as a way to better understand their God/Gods creation as they experienced it when the "answers" of exactly why a magnet works or the exact method by which a person falls ill couldn't be found in scripture.
This idea that science and religion are and have always been incompatible is, ironically, one of the more dogmatic things the euphorics believe.
