I assume it’s people who have had multiple periods of recovery. Not someone like Eugenia who has been on a steady decline for most of her life, aside from the one brief time she received treatment.

If someone has dealt with anorexia for decades, I’d hardly call that a fulfilling life, even if they somehow lived to be 80. It’s such a miserable illness
