They murder the auto industry, while at the same time spending a ton of money on weapons. I don't think tanks run on batteries and sunshine.

This reminds me about one loophole about defense spending related stuff. One of the big things that can be listed as defense expenses are infrastructure projects and now pretty much every possible bridge construction or tunnel refurbishment gets listed under it because while they do have to be made large and sturdy enough for armored units to use, it also presents as an opportunity to get a lot of funding to get construction done without having to go thru the usual routes of dear brother networks.

That's not the exact situation. Trump demanded 5% defense spending, Rutte "negotiated" and got it to 3.5% arms spending, 1.5% infrastructure spending. EU's biggest problem is that the southern European states simply cannot keep up. But they aren't allowed to invest more in one country than the other. They also aren't allowed to take EU-wide loans (EU has no tax income, just contributions, they're boring money with no way to pay back). With re-arm Europe (rebranded rebuild Europe under pressure from France) they just borrow money and "will figure out later how we're gonna pay back" support military spending in EU members.
EU takes on a debt it has no way to pay back since it has right to tax. Southern European nations get "defense money" which they're allowed to partially spend on ICT and infrastructure. Eventually the system cracks and the EU will use it as an excuse to force through EU right to tax and an EU army.

I suspect what will actually just happen is that instead of centralization, more inane NGOs get set up and money just ends up paying for some middle managers to make powerpoint presentations on where money should theoretically be used. As is usual of them.

There isn't enough military industry to even absorb this spending wave. Europe practically closed all its arms factories. The American factories are set up to arm US's forever wars, but not much more. The only way to spend it all is by pissing it all away, or paying 5x normal price for the same weapons.
It's hilarious how "orange idiot" Trump manages to get everything he wants, despite being called an idiot that fails at diplomacy. Sure, he is unconventional in his diplomacy, but he got Europe to pump billions into the American arms industry (with earmarked money that HAS to go to America, it isn't allowed to be spent on European arms manufacturers) and he can pivot his own army towards the middle east and asia. Meanwhile Europe pretends they drove a tough bargain being allowed to spend 1.5% on infrastructure.

The only areas where I'd say Europe's lacking in weapons procurement is not having strategic bombers, aircraft carriers, and stealth aircraft. Factories are there, the actual problem is that existing governments tend to not have a long-term plan on what sort of a military they actually need.

The most dangerous cities in Europe…thanks to the massive influx of the darkies.

What are European politicians going to do about it?

strategic bombers are only good to bomb goat farmers, everyone else has ground to air missiles that eat them for breakfast
aircraft carriers are only good as a mobile base to bomb goat farmers, everyone else has shipkiller hypersonics
stealth aircraft is just an expensive gimmick, no stealth aircraft can fool a high resolution infrared camera
image recognition ai makes stealth aircraft even more obsolete
>see how no side could reach air superiority in ukraine

the most important weapon rn seems to be 70 year old old-school howitzers with cheap dumbfire shells, and europe has no capacity to produce those
as well as said anti air missiles, and hypersonics, which europe also cant produce in relevant numbers
but the americans cant do either, their military doctrine is overhauled

uboats are still cool tho, i predict a new generation of u-boats that have advanced active anti-torpedo defenses

Raise more taxes to give to darkies to improve socio-economic circumstances. Raise more taxes to launch more round-table discussion groups and thinktanks to discuss the problem. Short healthcare to free up more money for free houses for muslims to see if that makes them less acidic. Raid pension funds to build more mosques. Reduce hours spent on arithmetic and reading so you can spend more hours in school teaching white children they're racist. Reduce money spent on police so people can no longer report crime and the number goes down.

It wouldn't be farther from truth if you don't count Russia as part Europe.

Eventually the system cracks and the EU will use it as an excuse to force through EU right to tax and an EU army.
Only when bureaucratic system in Brussels gain more power than regional goverments that would be true. I would see it in the proposal of unified CIT among all members of EU. If that passes than I strongly agree that EU would and could create unified and centralized army. Without a "test-run" in taxation I hardly see it feasible.

please say it again, but in english
i should have written EUSSR+Bongistan instead of europe, i had hoped it was obvious from context
russia is geologically and culturally europe, but politically brics
i dont want to count the likes of poland as western europe, or middle europe, they are still eastern europe
i cant say eu without stating that bongland belongs to the group too
its really annoying

I just realized one thing and it disgusts me - you know how Germany is basically a neutered nation and just a vessel for the globohomo? Scared of it's own history, forced to denounce it and denounce themselves in the present. But Russia? In Russia Lenin, Stalin - those who murdered more of their own are hailed as heroes, monuments and back bone of the nation. I guess Hitler is the same, but used to shame and blame.
The fact that Russia exists as it currently is, with the whole admiration for those figures (same for China) and are not blockaded by the whole west and actively and transparently at war with them is just so fucking stupid. There's people who even hold sympathies for those nations (governments, not people).
The same goes for climate change - the only actual places that have some sort of effect on the earth are China, Russia, India and probably some other 3rd world shithole but the need to flagellate for EU and US is just so fucking absurd.
I don't even care about the commie nations that much, the prople there know what's up mostly, but this fact of hypocrisy is just so disgusting i can't even.

West does not disapprove of that, so why should the people be punished for that by them?

Which people? The west does not disapprove the commies in USSR killing, banishing (to fuck knows where) and enslaving foreign citizens (which were occupied by them)?

Who keeps electing the politicians that consistently employ those nation killing policies?

A major problem with Leftists is that when they get political power they tend to become totalitarian tyrants who aim to extinguish any challenges to their corrupt rule. See: the treatment of AfD and its supporters in Germany; the treatment of Marine Le Len and her supporters in France; and the attempted (but failure) to kneecap Trump and his supporters in America.

Germany Submits To Islam: Christmas Market In Overath Cancelled

source/archive

IMG_1779.jpeg

In the German town of Overath (North Rhine-Westphalia), this year’s Christmas market has been cancelled. The cost of protecting visitors from potential terrorist attacks exceeds the organizer’s budget. The city refuses to cover the expenses. A capitulation to Islamism.

It wasn’t long ago that Christmas markets were among the social highlights of the year. Whether in small towns or major cities – they were meeting points for friends and family, for mulled wine, sausages, and quiet conversations wrapped in winter’s cold and early darkness.

There was this special peaceful coziness. A place where community was celebrated – joyful, calm, and without fear. A tradition that brought people closer together.

What would urban life be without safe and regular gatherings in public spaces? A wasteland. A dystopia.

These moments – when people could pause, breathe, and let the soul drift for a moment – have become scarce in Germany’s public life. Since 2015, since Angela Merkel’s open-border decision, Europe has entered its own Michel Houellebecq moment.

The mass influx of young men from predominantly Islamic countries has deeply shattered the population’s sense of security.

And in this increasingly tense atmosphere, just when Chancellor Friedrich Merz touched a sore point by speaking about the changing face of cities, a storm of outrage erupted against him.

Even after deadly Islamist attacks – Berlin’s Breitscheidplatz in 2016 with 12 victims, the Solingen festival stabbing in 2023 with three dead, or the bombing plot at the Magdeburg Christmas market last year – Germany still refuses to confront militant Islam pressing into Europe.

The aggressive rejection of any criticism within Islamic circles points to the core problem: Islam never passed through the crucible of Enlightenment like Christianity did. Christianity’s claws were cut – and what remained was woven into the psychological fabric of modernity.

The list of Islamist attacks in Germany and Europe is long and growing month by month. And it proves how intimidation of secular Western society has become successful – when even traditional festivals like Christmas markets are only possible behind heavy police presence and concrete barriers to stop jihadist vehicle attacks.

The feeling of carefree celebration is gone.

Another Christmas Market Falls

The cancellation of this year’s Christmas market in Overathnear Cologne fits perfectly into this picture. High security costs to protect visitors from terrorism make it impossible to open. The city refused to cover the organizer’s expenses.

The same now in Dresden – several smaller private Christmas markets cancelled because security costs exploded.

For one and a half years, the market association tried to negotiate with city officials, said Andreas Korschmann, head of the town marketing group.

Wouldn’t this be precisely the moment for the city to step up? Aren’t politicians always preaching about civic engagement and vibrant local life?

But there is no sign of courage, no standing up for a free, tolerant society. Just hollow political phrases for their own feel-good bubble.

In Overath, Islamists have managed – without any real resistance – to push aside a piece of tradition and communal life.

Outside knife-free zones and heavily policed city centers, a chilling silence spreads.

Winter Markets as Fig Leaf

The pitiful renaming of Christmas markets into “Winter Markets” was already a bow to Islam. A needless kowtow to an increasingly irritable, alienated homegrown left-wing milieu.

Germany is trapped in an identity and cultural crisis.

It’s impossible to ignore: large parts of politics and society have thrown in the towel, surrendering to Islamist pressure and the obvious threat.

A real solution would begin at the border – with a completely new regime controlling who enters the country. But the political Left and its media complex successfully taboo such measures as nationalist extremism.

The policy of open borders – a one-way membrane into the welfare state – has inflicted deep wounds on German society over the last decade. This is not just a vague feeling of insecurity; it is statistically documented in black and white.

With endless migration waves and the lack of cultural immune defense, German traditions and public life are fading into a deafening silence.

Michel Houellebecq’s grim vision of Europe bowing

You can't vote out jack shit in the EU, in any of the countries. The ruling class are just that, the ruling class, they're just the rebranded aristocracy and nothing more.
Look at what happens when someone who is ever so slightly not standard elected, or is a threat of being elected. It's usually short of being murdered.
They're non-standard and the reaction is usually like someone tried to join the popular girls group, they're icky, disgusting and no one should associate with them, otherwise we won't associate with you as well and will shut you down all around.
