I think they were. There's been rumours that Teddy Fresh is having layoffs and has been struggling financially for a while now.
I've mentioned it before; it had actually established itself as a clothing brand after riding a merch train for H3H3. However, they remained very heavily linked because Hila was very deliberately the face of Teddy Fresh and Ethan would constantly plug it.
These things can be hard to gauge from the outside but a quick look at their collabs;

They had a bit of a buzz going for a while - doing collabs with other streetwear brands like Rip'n'dip, celebrities like Elton John, and big-deal IPs like Care Bears, Marvel, and Hasbro.

The collabs they've got on their site now are Trixie (Trixie Mattel - a somewhat-big-deal drag queen with his own makeup brand) which came out in August 2023, and the Teletubbies collab which came out in August 2024 (Hila clearly had an in with the brand licensing agency WildBrain CPLG as she'd also worked with some of their other IPs like Snoopy and Strawberry Shortcake), along with a small Godzilla drop in November 2024 that's not mentioned on the dropdown. But since Ethan's continued crashout? Beepy Bella (a small jewellery company) and Chloe Cherry (former porn actress, was in Euphoria, something of an "it" girl) came out in February.

If you're thinking that's not that bad, this is considerably less than their 2021-2023 period which was seeing multiple drops a year from big collabs with IPs like Mortal Kombat, Rick and Morty, Spongebob Squarepants and Looney Tunes. Generally speaking favourable media coverage of the brand seems to dry up around late 2023. For the brands in 2024 they'd likely have been boxed off in the first half of 2024, before Ethan's spiral became quite so unhinged. It's not a sign of a company doing well if they go from "good PR collab partner for large brands" to "complete radio silence".
