they only moved because people were swatting them or attempting to break in. care to adress anything else i said instead of the one thing
Shit, I'm afraid someone might dox and swat me. Somebody start a charity to collect money to defend people from false dmca shit so I can buy a multi million dollar mansion that everybody knows where it is anyways.

first i do i agree that Ethan cant take criticism as well, but the response to it is way out of hand
the arguments that i think dont hold up are

1.hes secretly in with Susan and youtube and hes taking down videos that criticize him.
2. he starts drama but in reality this is what hes been doing since the youtube prankster days
3.people get mad at him for going after people like someordinarygamer, keemstar, and the quartering when these guys have been coming at him for years
4.that hes pocketed the fupa fund money ,when alot of it went towards the case.
5.he got leafy perma banned lmao
6. hes bad friend for throwing pewdiepie under the bus, when hes defended him before, pewdiepie was already in hot water with the media, he gave them all the ammo they needed to take down youtube which lead to the ad sense drought.

old fans mad at him for shifting over to the podcast, but realize you tube made it almost impossible to make money with the h3h3prodcutions format.. they need money to live, they have a fucking kid.
So let's go point-by-point:
1. I do agree to an extent about how it's become a stale meme, though nobody can deny the fact that their direct connection to the company does create a lot of mistrust amongst the community. Very few people sit in such a privileged position, and the fact that he's had the ability to remonitize many channels that asked for help over Twitter goes to show that the guy holds a lot of power. Although we don't have any definitive proof of him using said power for malicious purposes, the fact that he's become very insecure and nontransparent (such as how he continued to claim that he never looked up nor heard of Gokanaru's video, and that it was some intern who searched for it once) only breeds more of that aforementioned mistrust people have.

2. There's a massive difference between the "drama" he started way back when vs the current behavior he engages in. The pranksters you mentioned for example: Much of the criticism Ethan levied against those guys was justified, and for the most part, consisted of poking fun of their shoddy videos and production quality. The responses the pranksters put out also never helped their case, with a guy like Chris(?) from PrankInvasion wanting to fight Ethan irl. Easy to write that guy off as being incredibly insecure and possibly crazy. Flash-forward to the last several months, and you now have the complete opposite with the drama between Ethan and James Charles. Sure, Ethan had the right to call the guy out, though for whatever reason, he was compelled to then dress up like James in an attempt to "steal James's identity" and proceeded to post pics of his own ass on social media. And then to also film some more videos in this ridiculous getup with Trisha.
The argument isn't that Ethan has only recently been starting drama, but rather, he's been doing an incredibly shit job of handling it appropriately. Which leads me into my next point:

3. As much as I dislike Keem and especially the Hamburgalur himself, some of the criticisms that Ethan sprinkled into his videos were incredibly disingenuous and shitty. Like how he claimed that Jeremy was shitting on young black children for mourning Chadwick Boseman, or how Keemstar had played some kind of incredibly negative role in Etika's suicide. And like with James, as much as Ethan was justified to make a response to Muta's video, the amount of smugness and insecurity scattered throughout was beyond obscene.
To put it simply, Ethan has become a far less likable person to the point of becoming incredibly petty, and even a bit vindictive.

4. This one I agree with and have previously argued against being true. If anything, it's also become a stale meme.

5. If some people want to believe that he got Leafy banned, well that's on them. Leafy made his own bed regardless of Ethan's existence. The bigger issue, I'd argue, is how he clearly tried to justify the reasoning for Leafy getting banned, while also trying to deny that he actually wanted that. Which once again plays back into that 3rd point I made about him being unlikeable and vindictive.

6. That point's already (kind of) been addressed. From what I remember, Felix came onto a stream months back to talk with Ethan about this criticism made in Gokanaru's video. I doubt anyone here fully knows what their current friendship/relationship is like these days, though at least in the public eye, the two have definitely been interacting far less and less. It could be due that one incident taking place, or it could more likely just be the two going their own separate ways. Regardless, I think the bigger gripe is how the dude's become far less relatable and genuine around other creators, as he instead chooses to surround himself with professional sycophants.

I think most people here, myself included, can care less about them using the podcast to pay the bills. What's a lot more worthy of ridicule, however, is how the podcast has become increasingly vapid and abysmal in terms of quality, which is a shame coming from two people who clearly had a passion for their videos.

i actually want to be hold Ethan accountable the reason im here is to get all the facts.
my only argument is people took something small blew it up.how did it go from he cant take criticism, to Ethan got leafy banned off you tube.
the podcast is very mediocre with only few episode being interesting. i do think that after years of Ethan we have found flaws in his character. the aloof troll we liked has now became cynical

Shit, I'm afraid someone might dox and swat me. Somebody start a charity to collect money to defend people from false dmca shit so I can buy a multi million dollar mansion that everybody knows where it is anyways.
the money in the fund was originally for their case. the case cleared out the fund. do they need to release the billing documents.

Still doesn't change the fact that Ethan can get away with making endless videos on Keemstar which is not targeted harassment but that Leafy can make 5 roulghly 20 minute videos on pokimane and everyone loses their mind at how obsessed he is. You can sit here and argue who deserved it and who didn't, but it's odd that a 40 minute video on keemstar plus two follow ups and all of the clips on his podcast channel don't break youtube's creator on creator harassment videos.

old fans mad at him for shifting over to the podcast, but realize you tube made it almost impossible to make money with the h3h3prodcutions format.

Countless Youtuber's make money off of sponsors and donations which is what H3H3 gets with his podcast. If he is so financially screwed he can only do a podcast and beg viewers for donations and subs then why does he buy a mansion? Also if Youtube demonetization is too strict for them to make money why open the flood gates of sponsor wars and cheer on the deleting of whole channels?

I wouldn't give a shit about the podcast if it was actually good instead of the trash that it is. Aside from Hila's insufferable murmering that could put an insomniac to sleep, how many fucking times can he have that retard Trish Paytas on? It was old the first time. Once I watched it and they were eating fast food burgers live on air and talking about the merits of each. They have no idea how to present a podcast in an interesting manner, it is basically 2 hours of insipid, tabloid level schlock at this point, and Ethan is absolutely atrocious at interviewing (though the Bill Burr one was hilarious to watch for the cringe). I was a fan of pre-podcast H3H3 and I tried to give it a shot, even checking in up to like a year and a half after it began to see if it got any better, but it is honestly the most dull affair on the internet and watching paint dry would be preferable to this snoozefest. How anyone can sit through it on a regular basis is beyond me; I can't even sit through it to laugh at its shittiness.

Except they still own that house and the house they owned before that. If they were so scared of their address being leaked why would they allow People magazine publish an article about their $9 mil mansion right after they bought it?

burning fanatic seems to be the only sane person here you all are just conspiracy theory retards

the fact that you thnk they shared it is crazy.do you think celebs ask tabloids nicely not to share where they live. people looked into where they lived and shared it.

This is the last time I will respond, because the bait is real.

You fucking dense retard, it doesnt fucking matter how or why anybody knows where Ethan and Hila live, the point is they decided to spent several million fucking dollars on a mansion in LA when by all standards it is fucking excessive. It doesnt matter that anyone in this thread might have tinfoil hats about what happened to the fupa fund money, the point still fucking stands: ETHAN AND HILA DECIDED TO OPEN A CHARITY CAUSE TO HELP FUND YOUTUBERS BEING MALICIOUSLY TARGETED FOR DMCA ATTACKS, THEY HAVENT HELPED FUCKING ANYBODY, AND THEY OWN A 9 MILLION DOLLAR MANSION. You dont need to watch all of Rick and Morty to understand why that looks laughably retarded and disingenuous.

4.that hes pocketed the fupa fund money ,when alot of it went towards the case.
So he started a non-profit and then spent all the proceeds on his other business's legal case? Nothing fishy there. It's also a coincidence FUPA never helped anyone else.

he starts drama but in reality this is what hes been doing since the youtube prankster days
He actually put effort in back then though, now it's he just throws on a wig and starts kvetching about the undesirable youtube nobodies.

He could also not be a jew and do one podcast a week instead of two and still make his original content. No one gives a fuck about his shit podcast except the mouth breathers who watch it. Doing his low-effort podcast can't take more than 3 hours of prep and 2-3 hours for the show itself. He makes at least $20k per podcast so it's not like the jew is starving. He completely abandoned his content because he doesn't give a fuck about actually being original, only those sweet, sweet shekels.

I hope you're not serious
You literally listed whatever he's done wrong and then say you don't get what's wrong with him?

1 - He rabidly goes after whoever reuploads gokanaru's criticism video to take that video down. You're welcome to search how many people got fucked over it
2 - In his early days he was just a goofy dude who clowned around with some people. These days he acts like a self-righteous god of morality and is dwindling with narcissism. Criticises everyone but when they fire back he cries like a baby because his ego was hurt.
3 - Refer to 2
4 - He did pocket the fupa fund since it was never used again after Matt Hoss's lawsuit.
5 - This one may not be exactly his fault but his prior takedowns of whatever slightly criticized him made him the first suspect
6 - He has thrown many of his friends under the bus. JonTron and Pewdiepie are the tip of the iceberg. He sees everyone else as opportunity, not friends

old fans mad at him for shifting over to the podcast, but realize you tube made it almost impossible to make money with the h3h3prodcutions format.. they need money to live, they have a fucking kid.
His mansion is 9 million dollars by itself. Imagine how many more millions their family have in the bank with the teddy fresh business and all. They can retire right now and raise a son with that amount of money and live lavishly until they die. You're talking like he's some poor independent guy who is struggling to make his rent. It's just his greed dude. Are you trying to defend a money-hungry narcissist?

In regards to the FUPA fund, Ethan said he was going to continue to put money into it in order to fight wrongful fair use cases against other youtubers. He specifically said that he would do that because of the outpour of support that he got from other youtubers and viewers alike when his lawsuit came up.

Here we are in 2020, and I have not heard of a SINLGLE youtuber who has been able to fight their fair use lawsuits with the FUPA fund. And there have been PLENTY of cases that couldve been fought in the past 3 years if Ethan had kept his word.

Another criticism you have failed to mention is Ethan's constant need to go into political hot takes these days. He has completely embraced the PC culture and has turned his back on the edgy fans that brought him up in the first place.

His podcast also fucking sucks. And he's been an absolute cunt to the people that work with him on camera.

His glorified merch (aka FASHION BRAND) sucks.

The main reason i can't stand Ethan anymore is because of his absolute hypocrisy, paired with his need to flaunt his newly found wealth and general need to be better than everyone else. Why you feel the need to side with this dumb jew is beyond me
