What's fucked up is there will most likely be outside reactions to the venting here. Sure, you can pop blood vessels letting out the steam on here and it's no difference to the farms, but pedditors will just use it as ammo in their retard assault on his character.

I appreciate Louis' take on setting aside opposing political and societal stances for the better of his goal, right to repair shouldn't be bipartisan and his personal life choices shouldn't demean his work in that mission. I just see what this career path has done, thankless work is taxing on the mind and it's starting to show.

Feels like I'm being a fanboy faggot for Louis here, but this whole thing just resonates with me a lot. I have been hoping for someone to make a change in that area since I was cursed with the gift of an Apple laptop and iPhone for college. Really it's just insane that they can use a super obscure screw head that strips easier than Anisa in LA, and any damage to them is auto void for all warranties. It's only a matter of time before PC/Droid makes a shift in that direction unless Apple is forced to change their RtR ethics, because the tying of our hands in repairing their shit products has made them the tech gigamonopoly that it is today.
 
I've had dates google me and I have 0 followers. Then I have to answer questions about the couple times I was in my local newspaper as a teenager. I think this has less to do with your opinion of Apple and more to do with Western women's current obsession with rape and murder. My wife openly told me on our first date that she researched me and insisted we meet in an extremely public place. She spent the next 20 minutes telling me about how there was a guy using dating apps in the local area to find women to rape and rob. If you give them a minute to realize you're not going to strangle them, they get over it pretty fast. Don't take it personal.

Also, the chance of someone trying to kill you for your internet presence is miniscule, assuming you don't have some weird interactions with people behind the scenes. If that doesn't make you feel better, then maybe it's time to take your life into your own hands.

There are the occasional people that try to go a little too far that have actually followed me(I don't mean on Twitter). For times like those, I'm happy that I'm located in Texas.

Louis, I've been a big fan of your content and your mission statement for years now. I think it's pretty fucking great that you can come here and rather overwhelmingly get people that appreciate you and want to see you well. We're never that friendly.

I don't think you have to worry about assassination. I think your date is a hunk of shit for bringing the most chaotic bullshit the internet had to offer directly into your real life. I hope that you can take a deep breath, ignore the psychotic bullshit, and keep up the good fight. Please, just give yourself a vacation if you're beginning to be overwhelmed by the stress.

You're just one of many. Daniel Micay has also accused Techlore, Jonah Aragon and Privacy Guides, CalyxOS, and by proxy James Donaldson and CopperheadOS (because he thinks that Calyx is somehow related to Copperhead) of being responsible for harassment and (allegedly) swatting him. And that's not the full list, you can see the (non-exhaustive) list of enemies in his lolcow thread.

It is retarded that those in the GrapheneOS project and many of their supporters believe his story, but trust me, they're all impotent and powerless. The worst thing he's done is report Techlore's account and gotten him suspended from Twitter. The worst thing he's threatening right now is filing frivolous lawsuits, which will suck but at least it's not a gun pointed at you on the street. I would bet more money on him or a GrapheneOS believer committing violent/illegal acts against the Kiwi Farms, and we're much more hardened against such attacks.

People in this thread have already said to chill out, and given many good reasons why, but I'll also add that Daniel's biggest character flaw and much of the cause of his troubles with others is taking negativity way too seriously. You'll still get shitheads making up shit about you, but everybody gets that. If you can at least not make it any worse then you'll be faring much better than Daniel is.
 
The fact that Louis felt that KF was the safest space on the Internet to have this meltdown is something us Farmers should take as a huge compliment.

IIRC from years ago when he discussed his surname in a video, Rossmann with two n's is a non-Jewish German. A single 'n,' Rossman, is Jewish.

23andme confirms this, for what it's worth.

Edit - Just to be clear, IDGAF if it's Jewish or not. Louis has my utmost respect for the work he does.
