Taxxon is edging dangerously close to horrorcow territory. He never was too funny of a lolcow and more of a sad example of yet another young man taken victim to the internet, but at least that's SOMETHING to laugh at. All of the recent updates have done nothing but disturb me greatly. I feel quite sad that I stumbled upon his videos all those years ago and I wish I never knew he existed.

It seems like the last time he collaborated with Taxxon was that Ctrl+Alt+Del video in 2018. If Taxxon is to be believed, the last time he even talked to him was 2023, which was when Rebecca Kimpel's allegations resurfaced (and gained more traction than his first publication in 2021).
I'm willing to give Harry the benefit of the doubt and say that he cut him off when he knew he was credibly accused of grooming minors. Taxxon sperging about Harry ghosting him aligns with this.

This is precipitated on, most likely, the fact that Harry gets relatively decent view-counts (and thus ad revenue) for every video he releases.
Because of ad revenue, Harry will still make at least some money off of that video into perpetuity, despite its age. However, Eric made a one-time profit of $150 that will never appreciate further. So Eric feels "cheated" or "taken advantage of" because either he offered a low-ball amount for creating an entire bespoke soundtrack (honestly a retarded move that I could see someone like him doing in order to be liked by someone) or he allowed Harry to low-ball him because of the "opportunity" being enticing (perhaps even more retarded a move).
In the first case, Eric's a fool who fell into the same trap many artists have fell into before him via under-valuing his time against the output he provided. He'd only have himself to blame, really. But in the second case, he's much more "sympathetic" a character to the average bleeding heart internet denizen. Harry isn't a small YTer, wasn't in 2018, either. Of course it's probably a case of a big meanie content creator making poor, innocent indie creators feel backed into a corner, like it's an offer they can't refuse!

There are many issues with this statement. First, it just doesn't work that way. Am I supposed to believe that he lied about literally everything with regards to Paul? That he made it the fuck up? That he's effectively admitting to libel? No, of course not. But if he didn't lie about anything, then what the fuck is the point of "retracting" it? He's not actually retracting anything. He just doesn't want Paul to be held accountable.
