Why don't you tell the people who say he's only done kids cartoons not to cherry pick then? While most of his reviews are on kids shows, a lot of them have at least one scene that some viewers may find disturbing (One Coarse Meal comes to mind).

"Oh spooky scary kids shows! muh PTSD!
TW: Return the Slab."

P.S: Kid's love it.

It does! But seriously, doesn't change the fact only pussies would get scared of OCM.

I wouldn't say they're scared, per se, it's just, the topic of suicide and psychological torture isn't something that's been around since the beginning, and is quite jarring because it comes out of nowhere.

EDIT: Oh Simplicity...pray tell, how is this autistic?

Última edición:
It's not "scary", but it is disturbing in a way. Mr. Krabs didn't care that Plankton was almost driven to suicide.
Scared, disturbed, whatever. It might be saddening, sure, but anyone over the age of 7 that is legit disturbed by OCM is a thin skinned pussy, don't deny it.

(I'm surprised I only got "disagree". I would've expected an "A-Log" rating from NJA...)

So I imagine that the massacres on Superjail or the way Brock Sampson mercilessly kills the Monarch's henchmen (especially Speedy, who was then put out of his misery by his fellows) must be like the equivalent of going to war on foreign soil for you then?

EDIT: No seriously, why was that one dumb? you're saying that Krabbs having no regard for his adversaries well-being was disturbing. Thousands of convicts being murdered in psychedelic ways and the deaths of numerous naive young men in costumes by a highly trained killer must be way more disturbing right?

Every single classic cartoon would beg to differ. Suicide has been in cartoons since the beginning.

As was stated earlier, it came right out of nowhere, and in a show that's not known for these things. That's at least shocking.

There's also A Pal For Gary, and Love Loaf (don't have a real problem with this one, but he does raise some decent points)

Even if I does, I've said it once and I'll say it again: it wasn't extreme and nobody but the wimpiest of wimps would be "shocked" by it unless they're a little kid.
