So I did realize something about those lucky bev drinks, it's not that they're not sweet, it's that if you drink them fast they get way less sweet, kind of like how if you eat carbs right before drinking an aspartame soda the soda barely tastes sweet at all, but much more gradual.

So they start sweet and further sips get less sweet progressively though if you take it slow you can still keep it fairly sweet. This applies to all of them, so anything I've said about sweetness levels disregard, they all start pretty sweet and get less sweet as they are consumed.

I do wonder about why this is happening since it's a sucralose sweetened drink, and I don't remember this with the early Monster rehabs that only used Sucralose for sweetening. They were barely carbonated so that may have something to do with it but who knows.

Reign, Bang, and Rockstar Zero are the good stuff. Minus the "sour [thing]" flavors from Reign I'll take whatever.

Probably should cut these out of my diet altogether.

Summer heralds the coming of the Summer flavors. I await the reviews from our energy sommeliers.
I just read this while drinking the Red Bull Summer - sudachi lime. I guess sudachi is a gook fruit that tastes like lime.

It’s very good, lemon forward when you drink with a lime aftertaste. Like a lemon drop that finishes limey.

I love the Red Bull color lines - they all taste like a premium soda. I’m finding the 300 mg of caffeine with a pharmacy included to be difficult to drink these days.

The Ghost 7UP is surprisingly good, tastes just like 7UP

It sounds like it'd be gross but it's legit just 7UP with the energy stuff in it, gonna get it again

Where'd you find these? Ive been looking for it in the Walmart and gas stations around me. Ghost usually does well on mimicking the branded flavors.
They also have an A&W root beer flavor coming out later this year

It was a mythical pull from an Indian gas station, I haven't seen it anywhere else but there. If you're cool with your nearby gas station people and are a regular, you could try asking them to order a specific flavor you want. You could also try hitting up dollar stores, they typically have obscure energy drink flavors as long as no one's raided them for em.

And here I thought 2-3 times a week was pushing it lol. Last week a friend was telling me how his friend ended up getting a heart attack from drinking too much Monster so now I'm a little spooked away from drinking any more than that.

Managed to find a can at the grocer, tastes pretty good. I like it.

I tried the Dragonball Z G-Fuel (Super Saiyan Lemonade) for the first time and went from dead tired to completely tweaking out, randomly went for a 7 mile bike ride, might try to fistfight an alien later, 10/10 I think I actually went Super Saiyan

I used to drink Bang if I could split it with someone, I've heard it described as Parkinson's in a can and I think that's pretty accurate. It makes me tweak out in a bad way so I don't touch it anymore.
I just recently gave Irish Créme Java Monster a shot and liked it, but it's got a buttload of sugar. Same for the Starbucks Doubleshot energy which is my guilty pleasure and preferred canned coffee option.

My go-to is basic Rockstar. Closest thing to taste imo is Red Bull, so its the fall back.

I enjoy smoking for the burn in my lungs, much like I enjoy the feeling of drinking razor blades that comes with Rockstar. Something about the vices biting back, I suppose. Most other energy drinks I've found just don't have that same kick/bite to them.

arite, chyat. Over the years I have sampled over 200 nvm 50 of those aren't energy drinks 150 energy drink flavors that are sold in Russia, Belarus and a bit of eastern Europe (in addition to your Monsters, Rockstars, Arizonas and C4's). The question is, would anyone be interested in a review/description of them all?

Go ahead, you already have my attention with the idea of Russian energy drinks.
