There was a time in hip-hop history where so many white rappers sounded just like Em. It was obvious who their main influence was. But why did they only listen to Em? Well, they didn’t like the black rappers, but they didn’t like the other white rappers, either. Because the latter were all just a bunch of “corny wiggers who didn’t know struggle because didn’t grow up in urban Detroit”. So, Em was the only one that they cared about.

Eminem’s facial hair is disgusting. It makes him unbearable to look at. Say what you want to about Drake, but growing a beard improved his appearance. But facial hair certainly didn’t improve Em’s appearance.

I've been listening to a lot of Em recently for whatever reason and have expanded past Relapse which is my usual cutoff point. I've spent some time with Recovery and have come to really appreciate a few tracks (25 To Life, Almost Famous, Seduction) despite still finding the project as a whole extremely corny.

I've also had a few tracks from Bad Meets Evil on loop, particularly the intro track for the Hell: The Sequel album which I think he absolutely kills.

I listened to Music To Be Murdered By for the first time last week and didn't hate it. Couple of standout tracks. I'll probably sit down with Revival and Death of Slim Shady soon, which are words I never thought I would say.

I enjoy Eminem's music even though now he's a corny liberal boomer. As far as recent Eminem history goes, I remember when his beef with MGK happened; it was awesome seeing Eminem destroy that fag and all the clickbait YouTube hip-hop channels constantly putting out update videos titled like "EMINEM DESTROYS MUMBLE RAPPERS." I haven't listened to any of his new stuff besides Godzilla. But I might listen to his new album if it's as good as some people say.

I haven't really listened to him since Rap God. He's just another in the long, sad list of formerly edgy people who pulled the ladder up after they made their money being as offensive as possible, like Howard Stern. It sucks, I loved his music growing up, but being offensive and doing stuff like rhyming things with faggot was literally his shtick. Still love his old stuff, I separate the art from the artist, and the old art from the new artist if I have to in order to enjoy the old art.

MGK sucks but keep in mind that Em is the reason we have trash like MGK. Em fighting against MGK is like Buck Angel fighting against FTM troons; it doesn’t make sense when you were the one who made the disease that you are against popular to begin with.
