I get that there are situations where some people legitimately benefit from programs like SNAP and this may seem like a cold-hearted take, but the system as it exists should just end. All of it. Too many people work and attempt to contribute to society just to have their money stolen from them to support programs that keep entire generations of families from starving when those families could have otherwise worked and contributed to society and improved their situation as a result.

These habitual leeches on society contribute no meaningful positive benefit to this country and often make things worse for everyone else around them. They're selfish, entitled, disgusting, subhuman and a drain on resources that could be better spent improving the country for everyone who actually gives a fuck about the future. Do you think some welfare leech cares about bettering their situation, absolutely not. They only continue to exist on the forced charity of others and are proud of it. They can starve to death I don't give a fuck. Hunger is a powerful motivator to get off of your ass, stop wasting hours of your life on the chink social media app complaining about your situation and bragging about your free gift from the American taxpayer, and go make something out of your life. Survive or perish. The worst part is that the system actively encourages these lowlife shitbags to procreate and spread their dysgenic lineage to the next generation and unless it's stopped, it will bankrupt this country.

Welfare isn't something you should be proud of. It should be there in some form for people who are legitimately going through a difficult period in their life, but it shouldn't exist to perpetuate a class of useless cattle whose only contribution to society are retarded children and government subsidized profits for large conglomerates that specialize in only the finest of goyslop. It also shouldn't exist for companies to arbitrage the cost of labor by passing living expenses onto the rest of society because a wagie working a dead-end job needs dem benefits to be able to afford food at the Walton slop emporium.


I came of age in a community of shitty people in the middle of America's heartland. The vast majority of the people I grew up with followed one of four paths:
1. They actually worked hard and managed to better their situation and left. They've never looked back and I never heard from them again. This is the best outcome. It is also what happened to me.
2. These people also worked hard, but came from the worst circumstances by virtue of being born into a terrible family surrounded by terrible people. They were offered the chance to take the easy path and didn't. They got grants, paid for by my taxes, but I don't take an issue with that because it actually worked out and these people worked their way into group 1. I've also never heard from these people again. Second best outcome. This is the system working at its best.
3. The third group of people tried to emulate group 2. They moved back and now work a dead-end job and are caught up in the vicious cycle. Not too much to say about these people.
4. The worst of the fucking worst and also the vast majority of people. They sit on the Internet all day and complain. They never tried to improve their lives and blame everybody else for their problems. I now get to pay for them to continue living in squalor and continue making the same mistakes that got them into this situation, the same mistakes that their parents made, and the generation before them, and the generation before them. Your wagie bucks subsidize their tugboat. This should piss you off. I know it pisses me off.

Can confirm. I switched from a high-stress job with good money for an easier job and when it came to salary they are like "well, you make a lot in your current job for this position, but, with your experience level, we can make it work."

If someone is looking to use their CS degree to get a software engineering job fast food experience on the resumé isn't going to cut it.

Can you afford to live on $10/hr without EBT? If the answer's no, you're choosing to avoid higher paid work that would support you, then your choice is essentially "I'm going to sponge off the taxpayer".

Must depend on the Walshart you're working for. Back when several people I knew worked there it was absolutely minimum wage work, and the most they got was a HR bitch manager that screamed at everyone for not jumping through hoops for her that would tell you to fuck off if you needed any actual managing done. Granted this was several years ago so who knows, policies might have changed and maybe someone might've actually been able to complain to the boss's boss in some chain of command to get a better one but I really doubt it, everyone still looks dead inside.
Not to discourage anyone from working at your local one if it really is better than your mom and pop business, I've even seen guys in wheelchairs working there, just make sure to check for the wage and general employee morale. If the former is low consider helping out by seeing if the store manager's a cunt and letting the boss's boss know.

There would still be help for people even if food stamps and EBT went away. Just less wasted money. Im all for throwing the baby out with the bath water right now. Things have just gotten too bad.

My local Costco closed early because three dozen or so local activists and angry beaners demanded that Costco accept IOUs if EBT does not flow on November and were agitating customers and employees.

The funny thing is the welfare mob doesn't realize Costco managers and corporate suits want EBT to flow more than anyone. They depend on those Dominicans with 4 kids and gaudy gold chains with $3k in EBT money to shop and keep sales going. A Costco during the first week of the month and the last week look very different. If the welfare niggers don't get their taxpayer free bucks then they're going to "send home" a lot of part-timers.
And seasonal hires? Fuggedaboutit.

I think people are too optimistic it will kill SNAP, at most it made more people red pilled about the subject, but the Gravy train will keep on going for the foreseeable future, too many votes are done by retarded people dependent on gibs who somehow have the right to vote, too many corpo dominated industries are reliant on gibs, and too many bleeding heart liberals still believe that it actually help groups rather than incentivize them to be a waste of space.

Many, but not all those affected by the impending EBT stoppage made too many bad choices in life, opted for the easy wrong way instead of the harder right way. Remember when I was grinding through high school, would look outside just about any time of day and see some students around the edge of the school's property, smoking cigarettes. Doubt many of them ever did much in life. Nobody always makes the right choice, but the more good choices you make the better your life tends to be. And the taxpayers are sick and tired of paying for the too many bad life choices made by grifters and idiots.

Without welfare and endless migration, the market would adjust. 1/2 time minimum wage should pay for a shitty studio, shitty food and shitty dope/booze. It should not be an incentive not to work.

Coming over as a legal, white, Canadian immigrant compared to the gib shit train fucksticks is nuts. I don't get a single public entitlement. Not one. Not medicaid, not SNAP/EBT, not section 8, hell most state and municipal things I'm banned from as well. This is the case for most legal immigrants. Unless you're just some Juan Spic who showed up at the southern border and whined for an hour to a CBP official bout "los banditos" in your hometown, you get basically everything handed to you.

I had to maintain gainful employment, prove I wasn't going to be a public charge ever, have a firm, actionable plan to maintain gainful employment even after sponsorship, and everything. My wife, who ultimately sponsored my GC (she's American, it was faster to do it through her than through my work), has to make over a certain amount of money (although the threshold is embarrassingly low), and is legally fiscally responsible for me for 10 years. That means I'm banned from getting any form of public charge for 10 years after I get my GC, and if I do, she has to pay back the government for what I used. Even if we divorce. Between work visa costs, GC costs, and legal fees, the whole process probably cost $50,000+, spread between myself and my employers.

There were more asylum gib entry gib money applicants than the rest of every single other category. Combined. The US immigration system is now majority charity work because we just said anyone who was in a shitty situation could get free entry and free neetbux for life with minimal questioning. Until the OBBB, they got everything paid for. Application fees, housing, medical, the whole shebang. The OBBB put some applications feels in but they still get all the neetbux and gib money they could ever ask for. California is on track to spend $22B/year on gib entries and illegals. Lmfao. Fuck me sideways. America isn't alone in this. For the past ~15 years, immigration to first world countries went from something you earned to something we do as a charity for those poorer than us. Canada did this, UK, France, Germany, Sweden, Norway, a fuckload of countries all at once decided that we need infinite third worlders rather than people who earned it.
