What are some of your guys' earliest memories?

For me some of my earliest memory is of my mother saying 'DONT GO NEAR THE WATER!'
She was right to say so- It was deep and it was cold and it makes sense now.

I walked into the kitchen to get a drink, paused, and had the thought 'I will remember this forever'. Nothing fun was going on, nothing interesting was happening, I just remember it very vividly. I can't remember what I was doing before this .. just that.

Mine probably is sledding diwn a small slope infront of my parent's old apartment when I was 3, Or karaoke singing with a salt shaker as a microphone when I was a little younger than that.

My earliest memory was when i was two and I was scared shitless in the airport's TSA because I thought i was supposed to be put in where they scan the items.

I remember the first time I walked on my own pretty clearly. I can even remember where all the furniture was at the time. I was holding my Dad’s finger and for some reason I let go and wandered off towards the kitchen. I’m not sure how far I got after that but my Dad has confirmed for me on multiple occasions that I’m remembering correctly.

I have some vague memories from before then but only really images and moments from a house I’m not familiar with. Carpeted stairs and a baby gate, I can remember the lighting and picking a flower in the driveway but that’s it.

Additionally I remember small bits and pieces of things from preschool, like how all the preschool rooms were below ground and I have a few images rattling around in my head from back then but not much else.

I remember a lot of kindergarten, my teachers name, at least one corner of the classroom, where it was in the hallway and stuff like that.

I have no idea why, but for some reason I can remember really early childhood stuff but can barely remember things from primary school onwards.

I remember alot of my first birthday, the presents I have gotten, the way my house used to be decorated, the food that was served that day, the people that were there, and being ill for the next few days.

I can remember my Sister getting her first earring, her crying like hell and being carried through the city with her even though i was just 1,5 years old at that point.

I have a memory of my father's face looking down on me as he fed me a bottle, is that weird to have a memory that old?

Beyond that probably earliest memories are Christmas 1992, I also remember a cousin of mine pushing me around an apartment in a stroller when I was probably 3.

Old memories are mostly random mundane stuff? They go back as far as 3-4.

Memories don't really focus on major stuff until I was like 6 to 8 or so.

Última edición:
Going to a birthday party for a neighbor kid on Guam in the very early 80s. The party favor bag had a cheap knock-off GI Joe paratrooper in it. I played with it a lot that day and never saw it again

Watching someone cook toast on a fork in front of a fire in some attic apartment. Apparently I was 2, so I didn't even know what I was looking at, but I remember it.
The old lady downstairs in that apartment building standing in the main doorway with the light behind her. I think her name was Doris.
Being at the zoo, seeing an elephant, screaming when it reached out with its trunk and ate my hat. I was 3 or 4.
Jumping into a memorial pond in St. James' Cemetery, maybe I was 3 or 4 then too.

Either my parents screaming at each other and throwing shit at the wall or being in a cast after my mom's car got hit by an 18 wheeler. I don't remember which was first.

First solid memory is of being around 2, trying to reach the doorknob to get out into the backyard to play. Couldn’t reach it. Pushed a little plastic stool over to the door, then I could reach the knob, but wasn’t strong enough to turn it as it was old. Then my grandma showed up and yelled at me for trying to get out lmao.
