I used to list Flight Simulator under the want part of the MS section of my E3 report card every year. Funnily enough, either the year it was announced or the year before I had given up and left it off. And not only did they do it, but somehow they had a crummy journeyman studio do it and have it turn out way better than any other "game-y" flight sim on the market. It was a real coup for Microsoft, got a bunch of GotYs and was basically the only thing their console had going for it that Christmas season. My brother even came around trying to bum a flight stick off me to use with it, and he both doesn't own an Xbox or typically care about plane games.

Story shouldn't be a focus in a Sonic game whatsoever. It's a blue hedgehog collecting rings and fighting some fat fuck named Eggman.

When they turn Sonic into an RPG, maybe I'll change my mind on that. I'll still think it's stupid as fuck though.

but Sonic isn't Mario. part of what made Sonic unique compared to Mario was that there was like more lore, characters and worlds and stuff. it made it more interesting. atleast to me.

Remaster Fallout 1 and 2. Change nothing, just update the graphics and allow controller support. If they do a good job of that, they can make Kotor 3, remaster F:NV and then make another Fallout game.

W3 was the best Xbox exclusive last gen. InXile did a fantastic job and the soundtrack was one of the best i've heard in a long, long time.

InXile doing the graphics/artwork/soundtrack, while Obsidian do the writing and atmosphere/setting, would be an interesting combination.

Mgs V levels are well designed if you take them as the missions areas and not as a full world, I highly doubt Ubisoft are capable of doing that

It doesn’t look bad at all. People are epic shit, as always.

I wanted to play the Sonic RPG. I liked the GBA fighting game and All Star Racing Transformed was fantastic (beats Mario Kart at it's own game), SatAM was good, so a Sonic RPG sounded like a good idea. People say the game sucks, but they never get into specifics.

90% of your controls are with the touch screen. This includes in-game battles in which you have to enter commands by following the circle with your stylus. They range from "press these circles quickly" to "trace this circle in this pattern". For some people, they have difficult with this because half the time the game will say they failed even though they were doing the correct motions. Think of the newer Mario & Luigi RPGs in which trying to do a super move means doing some retarded motion with the d-pad/motion controls, except instead of doing pitiful damage if you fail, it counts as a miss and the enemy won't get damaged at all.

The audio is ear-rape. Sound effects range from "wrongly-pitched" to "actual puke sounds when someone gets hit". The music is garbage because the developers couldn't get the rights to the music they wanted to use so they took some midis from some random sites and stuck them in the game (this is an actual thing that happened, no joke)

The story itself ends on a cliffhanger that never gets resolved because Ken Penders decided to ruin the fun for everyone by suing Sega and is the reason why we can't have nice things anymore. Long Story Short, other Echidna characters = Ken's copyrighted characters from his Archie Comic book. Thankfully Tikal and Knuckles were left untouched in the Sonic cannon, but legally speaking, all other echidna are Thanos'd out of the Sonic game lore forever. The irony is that the story was actually one of the few GOOD things about the game, as you were given choices on whether or not you can make Sonic an all-around good guy or a snarky asshole.

Blacklist was already a shitshow, why would anyone wish for this? I'm still pissed about what happened to Conviction. The game we saw at E3 07 looked a thousand times better than the travesty it morphed into.
