I love how the fucking indie scene basically just morphed into a smaller version of the AAA scene, complete with gatekeeping anyone who doesn't walk lockstep with what the higher ups believe in, despite the entire point of an indie scene being a place for those outcast from the AAAs

Not only that, but the moral arbiters of our time now control much of the upper levels of US political office, much like the religious right did back in the 90's. So it isn't like there haven't been attempts in the past for ideological politicians to stick their dicks into video games.
