Speaking of E3, apparently the stream's up and they're talking about not being embarrassed about being a gamer, about how you can be an esports player and how it's no longer just nerds.

Intellevision? With a shitty two person console? WTF?? They're also proud of discovering vibrating controller support.
They're also proud to not have in game adverts or lootboxes. Fucking hell. Also high scores? Which if you're number 1 they'll email you a certificate for you to print out??? WTF is this E3?

Oh boy, the one sided discussion on fucking diversity. Also is anyone creeped out at them saying 'equity'? I only knew that as a financial word for 'how much value do you have in an asset vs the debt you owe' so hearing it here unnerves me.

The three speds on stage are praising the Intellivision people for their video game price points of $10 - $15, as if they'd be able to raise the price above that. They're developing higher resolution, reskinned versions of Space Invaders and Pac Man ffs :story:

Agreed that it went full boomer when they announced the 15 remastered Atari 2600 games or whatever.

The twitch stream, although the platform is aids, has been online at least as of my first post today 45 minutes ago. You missed nothing though.
I don't get where this dude's going... They're talking about 'owners' and 'still being counted' and about his booth boy 'career'. Is he trying to say that non whites being in positions under whites is racist or that he deserves to be more than a booth boy because diversity?
That same dude's begging the industry to give him a better job by saying "women, blacks, indigenous peoples, 'neurodiverse' getting success should be a goal."
