Did they? There's sections of the trailer where you can hear the original announcer talking. I'm assuming you'll be able to choose between the two (not that anyone would want that lifeless, decrepit second option).

As for Sheboon Spartan, I'll wait to see how preachy she is but I'm not sure why they would even bother if the idea was to appeal to the black demographic. This won't shift them away from CoD or any other shooter. If you're going to do that, you try it with something like Gears of War.

MS E3 was shit. (i said on another forum) Halo will be split in two parts; MP and SP. MP will be cross-gen and PC, SP will be XSS,XSX only. Then Microsoft go and confirm it.

I recall two female multiplayer announcers that worked well. Battlefield 1 and Team Fortress 2.

Halo 5 had a female announcer with Warzone. Didn't do it for me.
