They just did some quality of life updates, climbing doesn't feel as sluggish and zombies don't grab you every 5 seconds (I guess, I didn't have that much of a problem or wasn't annoyed but it as some)

I kinda wish I would have waited for a sale or at least until it was FULLY released, as in new game plus+ is available.
Really fucking sick of studios not fucking releasing a game in full and letting you buy it then get it piece by piece because they couldn't be fucked to make sure it ran properly or was even finished before launch.

It feels like shit to play minus some improvements. The map is shit and the constant being grabbed shit is infuriating. I've been slowly chiseling away at it and it's really no where near the first one.

Really the only thing that I can say of high praise is that it feels more horror than DL2. Night was fucking scary in DL1, and it kinda felt arcadey and more like a game (yeah i know) in DL2.
In DL1 trying to level up fast at the beginning after DLCs I'd get guns and just use the tower and kill volatiles all night long but it was still a risk, but in DL2 I openly fight volatiles until a whole gang show up. DL:TB isn't as good as DL1 which I didn't expect it to be, it's like what Spiderman Miles Morales or Assassins Creed Mirage was. A fucking glorified DLC made with the exact same assets as the base games slapped with a full game/price *slightly* reduced price tag. And much like what Assassins Creed Mirage promised, DL:TB was not the "return to form" people wanted.

DL:TB is alright. It's not worth 60, 50, or 40 bucks. 30 max.
