Hell, anyone here can write more interesting powers to the characters and not something like "ability to gaslight people". Franchises like Touhou and One Piece have very interesting superpower ideas. Vox, as it is, seems really lame in my opinion.
Pax - Telepathy; ability to read and manipulate the unconscious mind and driving people insane, thus giving her the ability to "block" certain aspects of the human mind
Sai - Ability to manipulate and turn herself into stone or magma; she can also predict natural disasters, dig through anything and can't be hurt by normal weapons (has to be hurt by something like a drill, bomb or pickaxe)
Noam - Turning anything over into its opposite state, physically (like flipping robots upside down) or emotionally (like "flipping" a person's anger and making them clam)
Theo - Seems to have no superpowers; later revealed to have photographic memory and has an ability to never forget anything and store infinite knowledge in his mind; superhuman intelligence
Eli - Psychic powers and spirit photography
Ziggy - Manipulating wavelengths, vibrations and converting them into weapons; unmatched speed
Caretaker - Built-in weaponry and mechanics

Another idea popped up in my mind - in my opinion when it comes to superpowers ZUN is an excellent source for inspiration: You know how Dustborn has a lot of token characters that are just there for diversity points and padding, right? Such as Sol ("dwarf of color") and Nainai ("limbless prostitute of color"). This problem could be solved with not adding these characters at all OR making them playable.
You know what would make Nainai badass and instantly improve her role in the game than just "token character for representation" and if she was a playable character? If all her limbs were decorated like Chinese porcelain, if she was designed as a more elegant character and if she had the power to manipulate and channel Qi and Feng Shui, thus explaining her destructive abilities. Oh, and make sure if she could throw porcelain plates like a certain taoist practitioner in Touhou. There, she is an actual character.
