That would be the only thing to look forward to with this piece of elephant droppings. Can't wait for a live action rendition of Pink Elephants on Parade
It wouldn't shock me if Burton said that the main reason he signed on was to do the Pink Elephant sequence. No matter how the rest of the film turns out (unpopular opinion i'm cautiously optimistic for this), the pink elephants are definitely going to be a highlight. That said, there's always the original.
I forgot it hadn't come out yet.
Apparently there isn't a pink elephants scene beyond an allusion. This movie has just one goal. Make sure to depict Dumbo getting drunk.

The one thing that should've been a no-brainer when you hear "Tim Burton Dumbo remake" isn't even in the movie.
He's playing Dumbo. He hasn't been looking too good lately.Tim Burton is the Director?
Then where is Johnny Depp?
I liked Frankenweenie. I think the issue is that Tim is still decent at animation but has completely forgetten how to do ANYTHING with live actorsOut of all the Disney remakes, this one seems to have less of a reason to exist than all the others. Dumbo's a fun little movie that Walt made in order to calm shit down after the big booming efforts of Snow White, Pinocchio, and Fantasia. That's all it was. Adding a creepy CG elephant abomination won't put butts in the seats because the story is already small and simple. Remaking it literally adds no layers or fresh ideas at all because there's no room for any.
The last good thing Tim Burton made was Sweeney Todd in 2007. Guy needs to retire already.
