Nah, '80s Webby was more the annoying tag along who was occasionally useful. Was she this tumblr like?
This version looks to be more useless and hyper than that one.

I mean, this one at least has a personality, albeit an irritating one. Better than bland, I suppose.Nah, '80s Webby was more the annoying tag along who was occasionally useful.

She was more whiney(I think. Didn't watch a lot of DuckTales as a kid because it originally aired before I was born) I disagree with her being Tumblr like though, especially based on some 20 second dialogue in a overall short clip. Now if she is a complete cunt to the triplets in the actual show for no reason, you might be onto something. Was she this tumblr like?

She was there as a "girl viewer" proxy. "If we don't have any girl characters, girls won't watch our show! Put a girl character in, her personality is girl!" basically. The character was always kind of unnecessary. Not quite a scrappy, but close.
Oh god, I'd forgotten about Bubba...If I remember correctly slapping in Webby in order to properly be considered a unisex show was pretty moot because she showed up in very few episodes and only had minor roles in most of them. I think there were only two Webby-centric episodes out of 100, both of them came out late in the show's run, and one of them involved being kidnapped. It very much came off like some executive demanded Webby episodes before the series ended.
Pretty much the best thing I can say about Webby though is that she wasn't Bubba the caveduck. I really hated Bubba as a kid.
Those voices were the ones I was questioning the most. Say what you want about Tenant or Launchpad's new voice, they at least fit their characters. Why do Huey, Dewey, and Louie sound like total douchebags?
I really don't understand the choice of giving them adult voice actors, unless they think this show has a chance at being long-running.
(With those voices though, I probably wont be watching)
When was he on Tailspin???Why is Launchpad on Darkwing Duck and Talespin too? That always bugged me as a kid.
When was he on Tailspin???
If he was, I never noticed him.I swear he was on Tailspin a few times.
That would be pretty impressive considering Tailspin takes place during the 30's or 40's.I swear he was on Tailspin a few times.
