I am sitting down to a meal of pelmeni and vodka.

Vlad is gone for a week. I think he's banging floozies in Bukhara. So I'm having to survive on my own for now. I don't speak a word of neither Russian nor Uzbek. But I managed to buy a bottle of vodka from the liquor store. I just jabbered a lot and waved money around until the clerk figured out what I wanted. I bought liquor all by myself. Like a big boy!

I think that clerk is going to be my best friend here.

Oh, and Vlad keeps suggesting nasty Russian/Uzbek drinking snacks. Like I've got a can of sprats here. I suspect he's fucking with me.

So apparently an opened box of wine can go bad, even when you leave it in the fridge. Drank what was left of it, woke up a few hours later and threw it all up.

Did some shots of whiskey to dull the pain in my ankle. (If only I had the percoset left over from when I had my tooth out, but I have it to my sister) I hate that shit, but I washed it down with a Kl0ndike. Oh well.
I HATE the whiskey we have in the house, but it's the only hard stuff. Meh, you make do.

So, I had a shitty day at work. And the AC broke. So it's a 2 beer day.

In honor of Father's Day, the whole family celebrated with Indian food, and plenty of booze. I even got to hit the triple crown of whiskey, wine, and beer in one meal.

I'm feeling pretty chill about now.

Some whiskey and lemonade. God, that shit tastes nasty. I wish I had some creme de menthe or Baileys. (My cousin's wife did give me a recipe for homemade kahlua. Hmmmm)

I hate Black Velvet -- it tastes like shit. But it does feel like fun.

Seriously, though, it can't be nearly as bad as that Zinfandel I once tried. THAT tasted like hairspray. I'd try actual hair spray before that.

I guess someone tried to do a six-shot challenge and backed off? All I know is I ordered my last cocktail of the night and two free shots appeared alongside it. My friends didn't want it and I don't believe in waste, damn it.
