Don't ask how i know this, this guy is one of the sadder, but as you all very well know not the worst example of the fandom's members, some of them are flat out insane.
1. Dragoneer's only claim to fame and popularity is FA, without it, he would fade into obscurity and be literally nobody, and he knows this, hence his absolute desperation to remain at the top of it. He is an attention seeking mongoloid and always has been and i honestly believe he would loose the last bit of rust and bird droppings holding his brain cells together if FA was separated from him, it would be a world ending event in his life.
2. IMVU bought the site with the hope of cultivating it into a cash crop, to advertise on, and also to attempt to draw the strong furry community into their virtual world platform and other product offerings, but IMVU severely under-estimated the the power of furry yiff drive, while they might have hoped the furries would all end up doing cyber sex in IMVU land, Furry's simply cannot resist the real thing plush on plush so to speak, IMVU was doomed from the get go and never knew it. And im sure Dragoneer played along with their assumptions as to get a strong financial investment in the site and community.
3. IMVU has now realized the threesome they are in with FA and Dragoneer is not working, so one, or both had to go, and with Dragoneer having written into the agreement that he has rights to FA first over all others, it was easier for them to just cash out and throw it back at him, rather than fight in court to keep something that brought them little to no added value in the first place, Like when Intel bought out McAfee thinking they were buying into a strong security player, only to then review it and realize they had bought themselves into a shit filled dumpster fire only to later sell McAfee off before they themselves were too badly contaminated.
4. Dragoneer is fine, despite his statements about breaking the bank to buy back FA, this is just more attention whoring on his part, he just went out and bought a bunch of new equipment he really didn't need, but he wants everyone to think he is breaking the bank to "save the FA community from ending", and using this mantra to steer the logic and feed a later excuse to start offering paid perks on the site to milk the community and fill his pockets, most of the community are just to dense to put the ABCs together and realize that is his goal this whole time. Im breaking my bank to save us, turns into please pay for paid perks to help fund the site, but is really, buying him his next new car and probably a bunch of rainbow colored sex toys.
It all leads back to a more less inept attention whole, who has found a way to use manipulation to make himself popular, feel important, give himself a sense of self worth, fill his pockets with money he scams people out of(claiming its all to fund the site), and the list goes on. He wants everyone to believe he is the Hero of the furry community when he is really just a scheme junkie.
