It's funny how quickly things change isn't it?
When everyone nodded along with Rhys's nonsense, he was absolutely infuriating. I don't think I'll ever forget how brain-dead that tv host was at the end of his reign of terror. However, now that more people are actually just not buying it (not that they ever did) but also talking back it's comical how circular and irrelevant his arguments are. Because it's basically based on "if trans women are women, then they should be in women's sport". But once people point out that "trans women" are men, his argument falls apart and has no merit.
It's actually joyous to see him flopping around these days.

The inability to think clearly, the changing role of media (to showcase, not interrogate) and the tiny voice in people’s heads that said “ I must be missing something, and I don’t want to look stupid “ stopped most people from listening to their own common sense. Also there was a massive overcompensation for the centuries of homophobia and a wilful conflation of trans and pedo agendas with the gay agenda. The world is shifting now against the transpedo noncery partly because the gays told them that they could and should.

Most of all, people were just afraid to speak up at the risk of being cancelled, losing access to social media accounts (due to tranny jannies) and worst case losing your job / income. It was always going to fall apart in the end because their power was always based around hoping no kid would point out the emperor was naked, however, Trump winning the swing votes largely coming down to the "Kamala's for they/them" ads means that they don't have the luxury to continue to give them the time of the day.
Still, I don't think I'll ever take people like Trevor Noah seriously again for having Rhys on his show and stupidly nodding along. There are definitively people from this time period I've taken mental notes to never listen to their opinions again.

I remember one particular young mother from Camloops who lost her job as a real estate agent because she had the audacity to call Rhys McKinnon a man. I think he even reported her to the RCMP, too. I'm sure she made it out alright. Unlike our favorite misogynist, that lady has a husband and children who love her.

His GRS collapsed into a zero depth. Those pockets of flesh that remain jammed into his pelvis WILL eventually turn necrotic. It is inevitable; Rhys is going to die of sepsis.
He will lay on his deathbed while the hospice nurse administers morphine and Ativan past his scruffy beard onto his dehydrating tongue. At some point he will shed this mortal coil but the nurse won't know until her hourly vitals check. At that point she will inform the orderly on duty and call the mortuary. The pick up driver, not knowing anything about the stinking corpse he is there to collect, will refer to Rhys with male pronouns.
Nobody will correct him because nobody will care. Nurses and caregivers had been calling Veronica Ivy, PhD, a man since he fell asleep for the final time four days ago.

I sometimes wonder if that’s the point. His main argument boils down to “if trans women are women, you have to allow them into women’s sports.” It wouldn’t surprise me if he deliberately presents as male to see how far he can push it.
