case in point here. Completely reasonable dude, seen them post good stuff all over the place, but can't fathom MAYBE ww2 mythology and absolute good vs evil wasn't exactly as it seems. Good people do bad stuff, bad people do good stuff. The firebombing of dresden was madness, allowing russians to rape german women was horrific. Hitler building up the morale of his people was good.
That said, karlyn is too stupid, too downright binary in her brain to understand that she's very much doing what cooper's critics are doing, just in the opposite direction.
Maybe this Cooper guy is a knowledgeable and serious historian when you get to know him, but when he says that Churchill was "the chief villain" of World War II, or that the Nazis marching into Paris was "infinitely preferable" to a bunch of degenerates mocking the Last Supper, both of these comments are obviously edgelordism at its worst.
