I had a friend who had a cat like that, except he would sleep at the end of people's driveways, so when people returned home they would think they drove over him when they left and didn't notice. Every neighbor at one time or another came up the the house, in tears, saying they ran over their cat, then whoever answered the door would yell "Shithead, get the hell over here" and the cat would wake up and run home.

My Russian Blue does the SAME THING. I can even lift his paw, let go, and it falls limp as if he is actually dead. Scares me every time.

That fucking pig smelled a fresh-our-of-the-oven focaccia resting on the countertop, ripped some chunks out of it, went and hid so he can eat in peace and then, after he got thirsty, had the audacity to demand that he's provided with running tap water.
And in the final pic I can only assume he was contemplating more shenanigans.

Truly deserving of the name Theft.
