These are my new kitties, Leo (male) on the left and Peach (female) on the right. They're siblings and had to be adopted together. Peach relies on her older brother for protection, here they are huddled up in the bathroom (temporary safe room) while they acclimate. Leo is approximately 4 months old while Peach is about 3 months old.

Leo is starting to warm up to me slowly and starts purring if I pick him up or pet him. Peach is still very hand shy and hisses if I try to approach her. I still try to handle her at least once a day though so that she can start to get used to my presence. Peach is also recovering from a cold so that's why she looks a bit off. While she does hiss initially, she doesn't try to run away or fight when I handle her so that's a good sign.

Both of them still have their names given to them by their foster parents. I want to rename them but I'm drawing a blank so feel free to suggest some. I was hoping for 2 black kitties but that deal fell through, which is a shame because I already had names picked out (Luna for the tuxedo and Obsidian for the black one).

Sadly, Coco has yet to be found. After I lost her I resolved that will only keep my cats indoors from now on. It's a shame to deprive them of the joys of the great outdoors but sadly it's a choice I have to weigh against their safety. Coco's original name was Laurie Beth.

Adorable kitties. I love seeing them be friends like that, always made me happy to bring home a new cat and see it get along and play with the others. My current cat makes it to where I can't have any other animals because she is so territorial over me and her living space but that's fine, I get to spoil her.

I am so sorry Coco did not return. I hope you are okay. I hope, someday, she comes back. I had a cat that disappeared for months when I was little and eventually just turned back up at the front door meowing. I hope that happens to you. To try and cheer you up here is a picture of my cat looking like a Whole Gorilla:

Fucker goes around eating field mice and avoiding barn owls all night.
No idea who it belongs to (if anyone).
I've got a vicarious pet-ownership feeling when he pops up on my cameras, love the little feller.

Damn, that cat is cut. Put out some snacks, see if he comes to say hi.
 
I'm glad that I live in a rural area where the most present fear for the wellbeing of my cats is them being nabbed by coyotes or hawks instead of motorized hamplanets. Jesus fucking Christ that ranks up there in terms of things I thought I'd never have to say.
 
My old lady Claudia! She lost one of her canines recently, I don't know when. She seems to be eating fine though, I just get worried when my old cats start to have Old Cat Problems. (:_(

Her brother is a healthy boi despite some thyroid issues. He's been on meds for a while and as gained some squish while also supplementing his diet with shredded cheese dropped on the floor.
(He's mad I woke him up)
