Look at my new kitten!

Less then an hour home and she's already climbing onto my lap and purring away.
 
The grey one is Lucifer. We lost him this july to kidney failure at 14 years old. I miss him so much.
White one is Sofia. She's a window cat.
The tri-colored one is their daughter Lulu. I gave that one to a buddy of mine.

i am Enjoying everyone's cats.

My cat, Besa. Her favourite toys are a crumbled paper ball and dates seeds. She completely ignores other actual toys I bought for her.

One of my mom's cats had to go to the hospital. She had blood work come back and they said she is in kidney failure so I came and we took her. I took a picture of her when I arrived, and was really alarmed at how sick she looked. I didn't realize cats could frown :[

The vet said it didn't look good. She is staying overnight, for now. I am preparing for the worst, and today is a sad day.

Same thing happened to mine this April :(

I'm still not ready to get another one yet
 
Unfortunately my mom's cat had lymphoma. It was discovered during an ultrasound, and the cat was in a great deal of pain. My mom made the decision at the recommendation of the doctor to put her to sleep. This all happened so fast and I am totally crushed. This never gets any easier. She absolutely loved turkey and now she had to be taken days before her favorite holiday. She was only 8 or 9 years old, too. I am not ashamed to say I am crying hard and feeling a lot of emotional pain right now. Somehow I had the feeling I was saying goodbye to her today but I remember whispering in her ear to fight this so she could spend Thanksgiving with us. I hoped beyond all hope she would. It's not fair.

On a more lighthearted note, I accidentally posted this in random.txt because I clicked the wrong window, and didn't notice for like 5 minutes before I deleted it so I'm sure someone browsing random.txt was like wtf is he talking about.

I’m so sorry for your loss 💔 Cry all you need to, and then enjoy Thanksgiving in her honor.
