This is my cat, Branson. I got him out of a shelter in 2014. They said he had been a stray that they found wandering around a tiny town near where I live as a lot of people there have barn cats and there are a lot of feral cat colonies. He was three pounds underweight when I got him at a year and a half old, but I have never seen a cat with his coloration before and blue eyes on an adult cat is relatively rare. He put on about four pounds since I got him and he has topped out around eleven pounds which is about average for a male cat.

He is a friendly cat but can be a bit rough when he wants to play. He is also extremely intelligent and is constantly trying to figure out how to get into things when he gets bored.

I'm almost 100% sure you are correct. That is a Classic Lynx Point Traditional Siamese, a rather rare cat. Lynx point Siamese are unusual, but being a classic pattern makes that a rare cat, and being a traditional Siamese makes the cat ever more rare, even for purebreds. The lack of being even a little cross-eyed makes the cat additionally rare.

I have spent a lot of time around cats, and I can say this is only the second one I've seen in 20+ years. That cat, if you could even find one, would be 4 figures.

I adopted Suzy from a local animal charity nearly 18 months ago, and this is how she typically behaves when I come home from work:
she's the most sweet-hearted, affectionate, non-demanding cat I've ever known

on Thanksgiving we surmised that spider (the blep) must have been given whipped cream as a treat by his old owner because he DARTED towards the sound of it when we were having dessert.

I am finally starting to get her weight back under control. Not that she was ever too unhealthy. but I plumped her up this past year by overindulging in treats. We have been playing extra lately with her favorite toys and I've got a laser pointer coming in the mail that I'm gonna try to use to get her to run around on a wider scale. I've never tried one with her before so I am excited.

I can't let her run outside because the area I live is farmland and has massive hawks and owls and all kinds of critters and my house doesn't have a fence other than a tiny little backyard enclosure that she could easily leap over, so this is the next best thing. It sucks that cats don't live as long as humans, but I want my little ape to live as long as she can so I have to keep the treats to a minimum.

Be happy that cats live longer than most dogs, its heartbreaking to lose these furry friends.
 
This thread is such a palate cleanser after spending the first half of my hangover on Kiwi Farms trying to decipher AmHoles.

I have a dog, but a tiny black cat with a heart shaped face has taken my neighbourhood by storm. Her name is Spidey because she loves to eat spiders publicly. I love her.

His name is Hugo, rescued from the streets. I joke that he's a bit retarded because he's super dopey and his hind legs are slightly malformed so he can't jump too high, run very fast or maintain his balance the way most cats do. Oddly enough, he became huge as an adult so his size is his most notable physical characteristic. Very endearing kitty
