That's not how this works, since Trump's original attempted betrayal of Ukraine and Europe will never be forgotten ever. Anyway, Ukraine holds all the keys now as they have an extensive understanding of Iranian weaponry and are willing to sell them to Trump in exchange for F-16s. This is a straight trade, on good terms, although not as good as the proposed lend-lease in Biden's 2022 Budget, which President Trump personally intervened in to destroy ending Kevin McCarthy's career. Seems like yesterday, but had Trump not completely fucked that up then today Ukraine would have far more spare surplus drones to give to us in exchange for lend-lease writedowns. I don't like to armchair general this and try to predict where the conflict is growing, but everything I'm reading adds up to a Syrian situation. Even if Trump pulls the trigger and goes into Kharg Island, Syria is unstable enough where attacks on the new Saudi Railway (one of the few successes Saudi Arabia has had) could occur. And, for Iran this is a very viable target as the new trans-arabian railway is the only way Saudi Arabia would be able to reliably export oil and import weapons direct into the battlefield, which is now their entire east coast and their southwestern tip too.
