The fact that both the House and Senate seem poised to pass the housing bill without needing Trump at all is quite possibly the only congressional W I've seen in my entire life. I wish I was exaggerating.

It's really pitiful though because Republicans were hoping to campaign on this bill as a major achievement, so Trump not wanting to sign it signals he may be really upset with any congressmen that try touting it in their campaigns.
Since how are they supposed to campaign to their loyal Trump supporting Republicans that they're doing well on affordability with the bill if Trump is so adamantly opposed to it he's protesting like this in the classic Trump form (pouting while not really achieving any change in what happens).
