Well, a Republican running for his 3rd presidential term after raping women and children, taking bribes from foreign and domestic groups/individuals, lying thousands of times, fucking up every US gov department, destroying the education system, hurting as many political opponents as possible, decreasing taxes for the rich while increasing taxes on the non-rich, and ruining relations with every allied nation on Earth would be better than any Democrat, because both sides are the same of course. But both sides are so much the same that they'll never vote (D), because they're the same, so there's no point in ever considering something different.
He also said he cares about women, after you know, raping multiple women. And now he cares about children?

It's not included here, but the Russian Central Bank reported on data a few months ago (if I recall correctly. I couldn't find the article) and immediately afterwards, Putin signed another law to limit data reporting for science, economics, and more. He couldn't fire the woman who was in charge because she was competent and good at her job, so he just made it illegal to do it again.

Medicaid is cutting mental health programs, surely this won't have any consequences. People having their medication that keeps their behavioral issues in check being directly cut off as a result of Donald Trump definitely will make sane and rational conclusions on their next actions.
It's okay though he wrote a letter to pharma companies DEMANDING they lower prices. Big surprise, it did jack shit. Surely this is just one of his classic negotiating tricks, and not the orange retard not understanding how American politics works. It's like he believes there's no difference between being the president of a company and the president of a country. He’s such a sleezy salesman and uses the old Zig Ziegler-esque techniques in his scams. This is an old trick you use, asking a higher authority for permission. There are exceedingly rare occasions that rules can be bent by a manager, but salespeople always know the wiggle room. They know they can or cannot sell you what you want at the price you asked before the negotiation begins, but they need to play up the theater of the event to make it seem like they’re going to bat for you to create rapport.
Trump knew the letter would do nothing. But now he’ll be all “I did my best, I did everything, I’m such a hero against those mean pharma companies” without even considering like….making laws? How do other countries pay so much less for the prescription drugs our tax dollars fund the research of? Were they better letter writers?

The CCP have been waging their own war against woke for years. Woke influence was typically an American or European thing, so countries like China, Russia, and India go the opposite way to stand out and gain support.
The American Right has thoroughly been compromised by Russia at this point, to the point where Russia firebombed another white country, yet the American Right, the self-proclaimed defenders of white, western civilization, either didn't care or openly cheered Russia on. The modern American Right today are the equivalent of the American Communists during the Cold War who have been thoroughly compromised by the USSR.

Well, I don't think NPR is shutting down. Only 15% of its budget is federal, most of it is through donation drives. I expect there to be a lot more on the radio.
It's probably not going to have too much impact on NPR, save like I said, increased donation drives. However, it will hit PBS much harder, likely disrupting a lot of programs. Though I suspect some of that slack may be picked up, or at least shows bought outright and slammed onto streaming services which... meh.

Essentially what it comes down to is that Trump is the perfect idiot for the deposing of the United States as the worlds premier superpower. He encompasses everything wrong with the US especially with regards to foreign policy - a braggart, tyrannical loudmouth strong arming every other nation in the world (except Israel) to the extent that will obviously push away countries from our orbit straight into that of the PRC. China has grown year over year as the worlds largest manufacturing superpower and has become the number one trading partner for a supermajority of state actors without firing a shot while America has spent the past few decades brazenly attacking countries in Middle East over made up bullshit. The sudden rise of the PRC as part of a wider plan by the global elite to deliberately have the US undergo a controlled demolition, which is why this country is being set up to fail while China is being set up to win in the decades to come.
It's gotten to the point that upon being slapped in the face with tariffs China, Japan & South Korea - countries which have historical hate boners for each other were forced to sit down together and figure out how they are going to deal with this mess dropped on their doorstep because despite their history because they implicitly recognize that they need each other far more than they need an America ruled by this orange retard. With Trump as the face of American hegemony it has become uglier than ever, and if there's one positive thing I can say about him it's that he is such a total scumbag that he is basically stripping the nice veneer that people see when they think of America. Trump's ugliness exposes the wretchedness of the American ruling class, and him going mask off on all the people who used to like us will backfire tremendously. It wouldn't surprise me if the American Empire fell on his watch and he hung for it legs dangling helplessly as the guy who pushed it all off the cliff.
