The simple answer is that Musk is a greedy attention whore who wants to "disrupt" U.S. politics for personal gain, and Trump is uniquely susceptible to his influence because they're both businessmen who love firing people.

The community note is important because ages ago the game Evony would pay for ads that played a video of "gameplay" except the video was actually nothing at all like the actual game, so it got a community note. (I think ads that show gameplay that isn't real gameplay should fall under false advertising laws)

Vance is a good debater but he really adds nothing to the ticket. He's just to the same extreme as Trump except he's very weird with no charisma, and he always comes across as what one would think of when you think of a slimy politician when it comes to interviews and rallies.

Dems are going all-in smearing Vance because their strategy is to try and convert Republicans.
