This is a good thing in a sense because it's not being driven by actual shortages, so if you can get those monetary factors under control you'll quickly bring inflation under control.

The big challenge is there was an enormous amount of money printing between 2020-2021 related to COVID, and monetary velocity is still nowhere close to historical levels and still below pre-COVID levels. That means persistent inflation as velocity increases until real output catches up with the money supply, if it doesn't that itself is an issue but it's a whole other topic.

It's not, though. Studies have shown it's due to corporate price gouging. McDonald's CEO even admitted that they just raised prices because they could. It's happening world-wide, which means it's not just "printing money". It's also funny that fatty was the guy who started the money printing and printed even more money so that he could give tax breaks to billionaires and then fatty and his cult whine about inflation being from printing money
 
I'd love to go back to not giving a shit about what the president is up to. Boring status quo is perfectly fine with me. I don't really care what your policies are if you're not making a fool of yourself daily on the world stage. Trump is like the guy from In Broad Daylight who pushes everyone around thinking he can do no wrong until he gets popped in front of 40 people who didn't see anything

Trump went from being the “hot chick” in the room with ugly friend (Biden) to now being the fatty with the better looking option standing beside him (Kamala). Before Biden left the race Trump seemed the better option of the two geriatric patients…Kamala is like a discord color on the color wheel revealing how bad Trump really is.

The worse the polls get, the more money the Trump-controlled RNC will divert more money to his campaign and allow the house and senate candidates to starve for funding, making a potential loss of the Presidency even worse by loss of margin in House and Senate.

A substantial loss this year would be a reimagining of the Whig Party crisis which bear similarities to the current Republican Party status.

In today's political ecology and news cycle turn over rate, the momentum could go back and forth a couple times before Nov 4th. It's all going to come down to if Harris can congeal into something people want to ride with after the DNC.

Yep. She’s running as Generic Democrat/Neoliberal and it’s paying off. The average voter just wants to get on with their day. Only a small slice are perpetually angry about shit and that’s what Trump has decided to exclusively cater to. The country is too polarized to see any kind of blowout elections but the independent and undecideds are still very much up for grabs and they do not give a fuck about crowd sizes or how much black DNA does Harris have. They do care about making their next mortgage payment and keeping their grocery bill down. Trump has no plan or solution for these things at the moment.
